The staff wasn't nice , we had so many bugs on our balcony we addressed multiple times and it did not get resolved.. they did not diclosed you have to walk to the gate which is a long walk , you have to pay for the jacuzzi absolutely one of my least favorites resorts I ever been to and would never book a Catalonia resorts again

The accommodations are in need of modernization. We were required to relocate to a different room on the subsequent day due to a non-functional air conditioning unit. Service response times are extended. The availability of pool umbrellas is restricted. Our room service order was placed but never fulfilled. The hotel necessitates substantial renovations and an expansion of entertainment options.

Unfortunately, this resort fell short in multiple areas. To start, there was no designated bellhop service available—even when requested—and the resort does not allow bottle service to the room despite being advertised as all-inclusive. There are also different premium levels that were never explained to us, and these tiers determine whether you receive top- or bottom-shelf alcohol. Upon check-in, we were told there were no upgraded rooms available, which was disappointing since we were hoping for a swim-up room. After being shown to our initial room, I discovered dried blood spots all over the bathroom floor. Naturally, I was extremely disgusted. Management did move us to a better room after I reported it. The new room smelled wonderful when we first arrived, but by the next day it had developed a musty odor. The main pool was also underwhelming—very small with limited lounge chairs, making it nearly impossible to sunbathe or even set down our belongings comfortably. And while I understand it’s difficult to maintain a spotless pool with many guests, there was a corner near the swim-up bar that was so dirty it was genuinely nauseating.The food was just okay, but I ended up with food poisoning on Day 4 (likely from the tuna sushi), and I was in severe pain for more than a day. In addition, the beach vendors were extremely persistent and made it uncomfortable to relax; their constant presence ultimately discouraged us from spending time on the beach at all.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. We had a private suite with our own pool — clean, comfortable, and the perfect place to unwind in the afternoon once the sun warmed the water. The room was slightly dated but spotless, and the nightly turndown service made it feel extra special. The main pool with the swim-up bar was a daytime favorite, and the resort’s nightlife was great with evening shows by the pool and events in the piano bar. The restaurants offered plenty of variety and flavorful dishes — just be sure to make your reservations early. The staff were outstanding, friendly, and attentive; we especially want to thank Berenici for her warm, energetic personality. The beach was beautiful and well-maintained, with staff raking seaweed daily. Beach vendors do walk by, but they’re polite and not pushy. The coffee shop was excellent, and there’s even a small casino on-site as a fun little perk. Overall, a fantastic adults-only resort we’d love to return to!

The beach is very disappointing and nothing like what is shown online. The hotel also shares areas with the family resort, which completely ruins the adult-focused experience. The overall environment feels chaotic and poorly managed. I witnessed staff yelling at each other twice in front of guests. In one incident, an employee even tried to touch me when I mentioned that what she was doing was inappropriate. In the second, another employee dismissed it by saying it was “a nationality thing,” which was highly unprofessional and made us feel unsafe. The “yoga” class was just basic stretching led by an uncertified entertainer who made inappropriate jokes about her underwear. The same thing happened with the “aerobics” class at the adults-only resort — terrible and unprofessional. Service in both resorts is slow; restaurants take an unusually long time to serve food. One night, our air conditioner stopped working, and even after calling three times, no one ever came to fix it. Front desk staff rarely know how to help and constantly tell you to wait for the next shift. I also don’t recommend travelling to this destination. From the moment you get off the plane, people try to sell you things inside the airport—not even after passing the main gate, which feels inappropriate and overwhelming. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel or the experience.

I will say as soon as you check in book your dinners especially for the steakville some restaurants book faster. Great activities throughout the day. I do wish the adult side was a little bigger because the family side had everything but you get to go to both sides. If they ask you about a welcome gift, they will get you to sign up as a member if that’s not something your interested in say no straight up so you don’t wait your time

The resort was very good top to bottom except outside our room they stored bins of housekeeping supplies and there was constant water on the floor and bags of trash. Concierge messed up a couple reservations for dinner and ride from our room to the checkout. The coconut mamajuana was our favorite!!!! There were a lot of stray cats that were begging for food. Tip for future travelers, DO NOT FEED THE CATS!!
