There was the smell of a sewer for the first 2 days. Mosquitoes were everywhere but then the property sprayed and they were reduced. Bird droppings are on some of the chairs in the buffet area. Some had mildew. The beds are made with 2 sheets only, this was very unusual but might be an eco measure. The bathroom area had little privacy. The shower area was airtight so it smelled like mold if we didn’t leave the enclosure open. When we first checked in we had to ask housekeeping to change one of the pillows because it was smelly and to re-clean the shower area to remove some mildew spots. It was satisfactory afterwards.

Overall it’s a beautiful property. The room was very clean and housekeeping did a good job daily. The food was just okay in the buffet. I would rate the buffet restaurant a 3 out of 10. Same food daily no changes. You will need reservations for all restaurants. The best food was at the Fogo Brazilian steakhouse and the second was at the Italian restaurant. The Mexican restaurant food was terrible 0 out of 10. The 24 hour bar it was okay too. The ice cream shop and coffee shop was good. Overall, you won’t starve but the food is not great. Enjoy my stay but I wouldn’t return back again.

Overall the resort was wonderful. The property itself is beautiful and the beach is great. The food, particularly dinner was above average for an all inclusive. We did struggle to communicate with staff, as many spoke no English, including bar and dining staff. The service overall was inconsistent and sometimes lackluster, having to wait long periods of time for drinks and food. The spa was disappointing, our massage was just ok and the “jacuzzi” was a small bathtub with cold water. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and don’t regret staying at the resort, but I don’t think it will be a repeat.

Upon check-in, we felt pressured to pay an additional $40 USD per person per day for supposed VIP Platinum benefits. Unfortunately, this was a complete waste of money, as none of the promised perks were actually delivered. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a resort that truly delivers on its promises

Spent 4 days/3 nights here to celebrate my birthday and absolutely loved it. Staff was super friendly, room was cleaned, spacious, restaurants were amazing and the food was delicious. The beach is breathtaking and the amenities of this resorts were great too.

I did not feel this was a 5 star property. If I was to go back I would probably pick a different resort. I want amenities from a 5 star resort. There was no elevator. They really skimped on the food. They made it impossible to get reservations. We had to beg at guest services. Melody at guest services was very helpful but still couldn’t do anything for us for one night. There was a weird sewage smell in some places. I have no idea what my view was of my balcony faced a blank lot? We did have great service for the most part especially Welinton and Gerson at the pool bar. We loved the activities they did have like the foam party. Would have loved some more activities. The grounds were beautiful. And worst of all were the number of solicitors bothering us multiple times a day. Even though they were aware we had politely said no thank you.

We really enjoyed our time as a family of 5 (3 small kids) Everything was a one minute walk from each other- room-food-pool-beach, which made the setup so convenient. The lobby was the only thing a bit of a distance but there were shuttles every 10 minutes or less. I liked that the evening shows were at the lobby and away from the rooms, so the nights we put the kids to bed early it was quiet and couldn’t hear music or show at all. The beach was beautiful, clear water, there were waves everyday but even our 6 and 3 year old had fun playing in the ocean. The food was average, but we only ever ate in the buffet, we didn’t try any of the La carte restaurants. The only negative was the stairs going up to our room on the second floor always had a bad septic type smell. Everything was always clean, just a smell in the stair area that was very displeasing. But our room was very clean and comfortable, no complaints. The coffee shop was great too, we enjoyed the frappe daily!

This resort is on a beautiful beach and the campus is well designed and lovely! The people are very nice and the service as good. However it is a very large resort so the service at times is slow and also mistakes are made. Our dinner reservations were input mistakenly twice and our internet service went out time after time even with the platinum package. We wasted too much time at reception trying to correct mistakes! The room was clean but we frequently had to ask for towels as they didn’t always replace them. The towels and linens need replacing as they are tattered and scratchy! The king bed was like a trampoline; when my husband moved I was tossed making it difficult to sleep. Also my pillow was large and hard. But my biggest issue was with the food. Although the restaurants are very pretty and the atmosphere always nice the food is bland and meats fatty and tough. Platinum package got us 2 nights worth of upgraded dinners and one a lobster yet still not so hot. Platinum gets you a special section on the beach with nicer lounges and near and restaurant and bar which is great. The downside is that it is near the area where they hold activities and music is always blasting. It gets on your nerve after awhile. I’d recommend this resort for families with kids as they do a great job entertaining them however it is not for couples seeking a quiet vacation.

Friendly staff, however it was difficult to make dinner reservations here. No towels in bedroom. Room was not as described.

Good but not great

We weren’t aware you could not flush your toilet paper after using the bathroom and the hot tubs were not hot. Drinks - meh to passing but nothing to be excited about. The grounds were beautiful and clean. Annoying, harassing staff trying to have you sit for a time share should not be allowed.
