Dominican stay

We stayed on the1st floor. The condo was nicely furnished, beds were comfortable. Called front desk about needing batteries in the thermostats and they came very quickly. The 3rd bedroom is very small with no windows. It does have an attached bath. The other two bedrooms were very nice. They provided bath towels, beach towels, a roll of paper towels and each bathroom had toilet paper. They also had some bottled water in the fridge and a large water cooler jug. You can only see the ocean from this unit if you are standing up. Sitting, you see the hedge and palapas. The porch is very nice and large. The pool was lovely. We had it to ourselves a few times. It has varying depths. Some people brought out speakers to play loud music, not our style. They turned it down 50% when I asked. The beach is right in front of the condo. Chairs under palapas for guests. Not too busy, chairs available. There was seaweed on the beach - less than in places we walked by - and minimal amounts in the water. Boat business next door - so action during the day. Restaurant next door played loud music all day but mostly stopped at 9:30. Also, a few roosters outside of condo that were loud at night. Told management later in stay. Hopefully they are able to relocate them. All employees at condo were very friendly and helpful. Many restaurants walking distance, mini markets, beach shops, a small grocery store. Cons: noise; Pros: most everything else.
