Clean, well maintained property. Buffet was good with theme nights. Brazilian restaurant was good too. All the staff were kind, helpful and made us feel at home. Entertainment team especially Nicky and Jarrol were amazing. Maria the butler was fantastic, made our dinner reservations and made sure we were comfortable. Entertainment at night was not enjoyable. Less games, less couples games. More shows and dancing themes. This hotel is like paradise. Lush greenery, clean and a wonderful staff making sure you are enjoying your vacation. Thank you for a wonderful time. We will be back very soon.

My friend and I just got back from vacation and we were sad to leave! The staff are such kind, hardworking, and positive people. The entertainment crew: “Baby Angelo, Maria, Tinkerbell, Vanilla Ice, Carlos, and Roberto” were energetic, amazing people. They planned entertaining, fun daily activities that you could join or not. The days and evenings were equally enjoyable. The rooms were always clean, the pools (quiet pool and social pool) were both beautiful spots. The beach was amazing and clean. The restaurants were delicious. I wish they had more opportunities to book the popular Italian restaurant when new traveler's arrive. I vegan, and while there were a lot of veggies and fruit options at buffets, it would have been nice to have more vegan option at restaurants. My friend said the meat was amazing though. I would definitely come back to this resort! It exceeded our expectations.

The rooms are in much need of upkeep, shower door did not close, the doorknob to the bathroom was holding on by a thread, the dresser drawers were barely useable. The buffets were not much better than the rooms! The restaurants were quite better but nothing to write home about. We did the Adventure Buggies evening excursion which was a lot of fun. However we were told the drive was 1 hour each way. It needed up being a 2 hour drive each way. We were told we would be back at the resort by 11pm. We actually returned at 12:30am. Would never return to this resort or the DR again. Was a very disappointing vacation.

If you are over the age of 50 this place is for you. I am 25 and came here with my boyfriend for the first time and we were the youngest people here. If you’re looking for a party and nightlife this is not your place. It’s a beautiful resort but very boring. The parties here end at 11 pm… the music is on a low volume all the time and the activities are catered to older folks. But if you’re looking for a quiet relaxing vacation then this place is perfect. Staff is amazing, food is decent and the resort is beautiful. No complaints whatsoever. I definitely will be coming back when I’m 50.

Review: Bahía Príncipe This was my first time at an all-inclusive hotel, and there were some unexpected surprises. Adding an extra person to the room cost an additional $1,120 for seven nights, which I wasn’t aware of beforehand. As for the food, I was expecting more authentic Dominican flavors, but most of the options were very Americanized and lacked taste. The juices were not natural but artificial concentrates, which was disappointing. The rooms have a major drawback: there are very few power outlets. To charge your phone, laptop, or any other accessories, you have to unplug something else, which is quite inconvenient. Another downside is the limited capacity at the specialty restaurants, making it difficult to get reservations. The rodizio restaurant, in particular, had a very limited selection of meats. The beach was also disappointing. The water is not crystal clear but dark and murky, resembling a lagoon with an unpleasant smell. Pros: • The resort itself is beautiful and cozy. • Most of the specialty restaurants are good. • The parties and nightly entertainment were spectacular, especially Dominican Night. Overall, while the ambiance and entertainment were excellent, there are key areas the hotel could improve, especially the food, room amenities, and beach quality.

Liked the Rodeziio restaurant and the Jazmin buffet. The specialty restaurants were mediocre. Massages ok. Mani/pedis not worth it. Nail polish came off same day. People told us about jellyfish in ocean so didn't go in. Lots of bees/wasps on beach so we stayed with the pools. Agree with others regarding beds extremely hard. Staff were excellent. Helpful, polite, professional and happy. One error. They gave us a wine menuin the Don Pablo restaurant before offering us the house wine so we spent $150. US before realizing that we could have had the house wine for free.

The hotel is far from airport or activities which limits when you can do excursions. The hotel lost power for a short time but 2 days in a row and 5 times in one day. There was a generator going that was loud by the quiet pool. They didn’t have a room with 2 beds which was specifically requested and then moved us to one right next to the performance area so loud until 11 every night. The walls are thin so I heard the alarm from next door in the mornings. Food was ok especially in the a la carte restaurants but the buffet areas had food that was not that good.
