Do not feel safe, our room was broken into and cash was stolen, tried to bring, blame my guest and wanted to go through all her personal female items, when they did, they smirked at what she had. Discovered that the sliding glass door window that was supposed to be stationary was not stationary and that’s probably how someone entered the room. Very disappointed.

My flight got cancelled and I spoke to a hotel staff about extending my stay and he gave me a rate to extend it and I asked him could I lock it in now he told me to come the next day before I check out and he could give me a better rate. I go on the next day like I was told only to find out there is no more rooms available now I have to pay a higher rate to stay in the adults only. I will already be missing work and to have to pay more just a bad impact on me financially.

It was my first time over there and we are very happy with everything, the buffet was with a lot of choices every day food was very good The coco bar Roberto always making my delicious drinks with a big smile at the restaurant we were very impressed with Oscar his service was amazing!! Also at the front desk Hanel was able to help us with a request that we asked before and wasn’t done with the other person at the front desk The entertainment team were very good shout out to Evelyn please !! Everyday was a lot of activities throughout the day . The only problem we had it was the beach water but we understand that is part of the nature. Always we come to Dominican Republic to enjoy your service and happy people at every place we go . Thank you to all your staff every made our stay delightful

Although the staff was friendly and welcoming, the overall experience was disappointing. The food was average, and as beach lovers, we were especially let down by the beach on the property. The water was full of jellyfish, making it impossible to swim or enjoy the ocean. Unfortunately, we ended up having to pay extra for transportation, food, and beach accessories and travel about 40 minutes to a different beach. This was frustrating and not what we expected from our stay.

Everything was perfect, clean, nice stuff, very friendly, beach was great but the only thing that nobody mentioned is the sea. Water is calm but looks like lake, muddy lake. People very complaining about jellyfish bites and we saw a lot of fish in a shallow water that looked like puffer fish.

The staff was very accommodating in the restaurants and at the bars. The room was cleaned everyday which was very nice. Fresh towels, bed was made nice and room was tidied up. The pool area was very clean and well kept as well as the beach areas. Comfortable lounge chairs enough for everybody. The a la carte restaurants were spectacular and the buffets were very accommodating for everyone The only downfall I had was the pool got very loud with the different activities they had at it during the day and with one pool you really couldn't go anywhere else besides the beach which wasn't the worst. The walks on the beach were very enjoyable. Didn't have to deal with vendors or anything of sort. There was one little vendor hut up the way but they didn't overwhelm you. They asked if you wanted to buy their merchandise and left you alone. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

When my partner and myself booked this hotel, based on all wonderful pictures online, we were waiting to have a nice experience there. We had booked a 'superior' room, but when we arrived, the experience was devastating. We asked to change the first room because the safe wasn't working, and we were moved to another room, but that room was even worse. From the moment we arrived, they gave us a huge, old-fashioned key when usually hotel keys are electronic. There was no Wi-Fi in the room. Two of the electrical outlets were broken in the second room. The bathroom curtain was stained and dirty. The bathtub was chipped and dirty, and the air conditioning unit wasn't working properly. In short, we had to upgrade to another hotel for one week, but paid 11 days in full in Playa Bachata. I wish to get a refund, and tried to do it, but their polices didn't allow it... So my learned lesson is: read all reviews before booking any hotel. We just looked at the pictures online. This hotel needs a lot of renovation to provide better quality service to its guests. As for the staff, they were very good, very cooperative, and very attentive, but the hotel itself needs renovation.

They also offered view to the water and charge me more for that but instead I was looking for some grass with palms. Very far view to the sea, you shouldn't charge more for that. I feel fooled.

Excellent hotel. Only problem was initially allocated room waa near the restaurant/bar area, and was very noisy till late at night. We requested a room change, and the hotel obliged the next day - so we were very satisfied with how they dealt with our complaint. As we had a late departure, we requested that we keep our room after checkout time. Again, the hotel sorted this for us - at a modest cost. So we were very happy with the hotel management. All inclusive buffets were excellent.
