I like the front desk, doing their best to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. I did not like the restaurants or the buffet. They served almost the same thing all the time. Food was cold. And at the restaurants the food was horrible. They were only one food hut at the waterpark area, that only served pizza. Wanted anything else yu had to walk a long way to the buffet. Ive been to other resorts that were more convienent and had options. The staff fight for tips amongst each other and expects it all the time. They only treat yu well if they know yu leave good tips. Spent around 300 just in tips to have good service, which was average. Had someone on the lobby approach us telling us he wants to give us a gift of $80 and all we have to do is sit for a meeting that will happen during our breakfast. We told him we had two kids and did not want to take any time away from their day which he said will be very short. We also asked of they was any money involved because we would not be interested if they were going to get us to buy something. Lied and said no. Wasted half the day with them trying to get us to take a package for 30,000. Never again.

In theory this is a Kids themed hotel and there were lot of people smoking tobacco in open areas, loud music, all amenities fully booked from the very first day and restaurants.

the hotel is very old. very crowded, huge lines at the buffet. The staff is very unprofessional. Especially in the residential area. We had 2 towels in the room, although there were 3 of us. There are a lot of children in the hotel, but the staff does not seem to understand this, it is impossible for children to sleep after lunch. It is very noisy in the corridors, the staff talk loudly, shout at each other, like on the street, they drop everything, rattle carts, move furniture ... But it is very good for children, a wonderful water park and a children's club

This resort was great for the kids. Food was good. We did VIP which I would recommend because you have access to 4 other resorts. There are 7 there in total. Pools where great. The front desk, especially Rosaury and Andres M were very helpful and pleasant. Will be returning.

We had an amazing stay at Bahia Fantasic in the Dominican Republic! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. This resort is fantastic for families, especially with kids. The pools were well-maintained, spacious, and perfect for all ages. The beach was absolutely beautiful—soft sand, clear water, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The only downside for us was the food. While it was okay, there wasn’t a great selection, and we found ourselves wanting more variety. That being said, everything else about the resort made up for it, and we still had a wonderful time. If you’re looking for a family-friendly resort with great service, stunning pools, and a gorgeous beach, Bahia Fantasic is a great choice!

Big and Average

Overall stay was okay. This is a very large young family-oriented resort that is within a much larger complex which is both a positive (multiple pool choices) and negative (crowded beach area). Pro - Room was nice and fairly quiet except for nighty show that went until 10:30-11pm. The Jr Deluxe was on the corner and had extra windows on the side. - Staff was friendly but many had limited to no english skills - Nice pools especially at other adjacent resorts you are able to use. - Liked the tram to get to beach - resort is about 1 mile long end to end. - Like the beach front snack area for location. Meh items - Food was pretty typical/middle of the road for this size resort. Le Gourmet was better than average. - I drove in from other part of country, easy to park and drive back to airport (~40 minutes around noon) - but driving is a bit wild here, especially in towns... Negative - Said before - beach area very crowded dedicated for the resort group. Had to get there by 9am to get spot on a nice day. - Slippery when wet! polished tile is everywhere, take caution! When it rains everywhere is a big dangerous depending on your footwear. We saw a woman down on the walk for more that a few minutes while they checked her out (did get up), - Minor issue but a nuisance - everything is uplite and shines in your eyes. Meaning walkways can be somewhat dark much of the time and not always smooth and can be slick as mentioned above. - Be aware of loud music - hit limit...
