Host did not speak much English, and we didn’t speak any Croatian, but it worked out fine. This property is an absolute time capsule with so many interesting features. The wall hangings are cross stitch or embroidery and must have taken hundreds of hours. There’s a lovely garden and a friendly puppy. The host shared fresh figs from her tree and made us a lovely apple strudel for breakfast. This is not a modern property, but so much more interesting for it’s age and history.
