Incredible location
Two things I consider when renting an apartment, esp in a place I have not visited, is the responsiveness of the property owner and location.
Both criteria were excellent in this rental. Biljana was quick to reply to questions and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. The location was central ( and I mean a short walking distance) to everything mentioned as a “must-see” while in Pula. Two of them, the Temple of Augustus and the Arch of Sergei—WOW.
The apartment was newly remodeled , with everything you might need for your stay. There was a small issue with the satellite TV but Biljana was persistent in getting the TV company to address the problem. She even had a friend help with some translation to address the problem!
Keep in mind there are about 40 stairs to climb to reach the apt and it’s central location might bother those sensitive to noise. The windows are double-paned but noise does drift upward from the street. Some people love that kind of street energy (you can people watch from your apt) while others may find it impossible. We liked watching the crowds walk down this popular street.
