This is a very peaceful hotel with a nice pool and beautiful landscaping. The town and main road can be overwhelmingly loud and busy at times, so it was great to have a little oasis of calm just outside the main centre. The room was comfortable and well appointed and all three breakfast options were tasty.

We stayed here for three nights and were very satisfied overall. The service was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, too. We had bicycles, but everything is also within easy walking distance. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable overall. All in all, it was a lovely stay, and we would definitely recommend it.

Great staff we had problems with another hotel in the area due to cleanliness I contacted them and they helped get us in the room early so we could leave the bad hotel sooner. Super friendly super clean place. Nice staff and good drinks by the pool. The breakfast was delicious as well

Although it's listed as being in Cahuita, the location is considered Puerto Viejo and is centrally located to numerous restaurants and shops. Nature sanctuaries are accessible by car or a tuk-tuk. The hotel itself is open, airy, with a beautiful pool that's more of a water feature due to its irregular shape and shallow depth. The 2 bed/2 bath apartment with a kitchen was great, but the view was just okay. To access the apartment, you have to go climb two external flights of stone stairs that can be tricky especially when it's raining and/or you have mobility issues. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. I really enjoyed my stay and can't wait to visit again. Pura Vida!
