Secluded hideout near Puerto Viejo

Very private. 2 couples can easily share this and still have their own space.Nice open air floor plan kitchen and living space with air-conditioned bed rooms and a plunge pool to cool off in.A chair or two and a minifridge in the bedrooms would be a nice touch, though.The kitchen is well equiped. Grill needs replaced, but I made due...A little difficult to find in the dark, but it's the next drive south of Casa Gaviota and a little North of the policia.

Great Location, Peaceful Retreat

We visited PV for the first time and stayed in this home. We enjoyed the location very much though we were outside the walking distance to PV parameters for the most part which was okay with us. There are plenty of transportation opportunities if you don't want to do the short drive into PV. The house had a great outdoor living arrangement. We didn't find the furniture very comfortable for just hanging out but otherwise it was just fine. Before getting to the house you might want to stop at one of the stores and get ice, papertowels/napkins and bring a few spices if you plan to cook. Plenty of drinking water is provided. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet. Overall a really great place to stay.

Pura Vida in Puerto Viejo

We had a very pleasant stay at Casa Freya. The location is very convenient, close to nearby beaches and natural attractions. The house is very well-maintained and equipped with the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The outdoor area with the open kitchen and living room as well as the pool is lovely. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful before and during our visit. We can highly recommend Casa Freya.
