Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy. Our first room had an issue with hot water. The staff were quick to change our room and all was good. Staff are polite and helpful. Hotel is VERY clean and pretty new looking. Room was spotless. Breakfast was good with a number of options. For the money this hotel was a bargain. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel staff, but there was a mix up with our room bill when we checked in, which was resolved after we were already in our room. Good thing it was caught. Anyway, room was small, but it was ok for our stay. Room was clean. There’s a bar/restaurant next door, and if you didn’t bring headphones to drown out the noise, it was difficult to sleep. The breakfast buffet spread was great! Many food choices and all delicious. Hotel staff was polite and courteous. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

Pros: Shuttle van to and from Puerto Princesa Airport available for free during their designated service hours, after hours shuttle fee is 500 pesos for up to 4 persons; Bedrooms are new; bedrooms are very clean; strong WiFi connection; with smart TV; Security guard at the entrance 24/7; very quiet inside the room and did not hear any noise from outside; warm shower water; toothbrush and toothpaste provided; shampoo and shower gel provided; hair dyer provided; has safe deposit box; instant coffee, sugar, creamer provided; good lighting; free breakfast; respectful and helpful staff; walking distance to the Bay Walk with multiple restaurants and bay view. Cons: Bedrooms are small; no desk; no chair except for 1 plastic stool; no luggage rack or stand; limited hanging space and drawers; hand soap not provided; no restaurant in the hotel nor next door. Overall, I like this hotel because it is new, very clean, quiet and secure.

The Hotel is still new and very clean. However, it is a little bit far from shopping and good restaurant. Has a very nice view from the 7th floor of this Hotel overlooking the mountain and Ocean.

Out of 5 hotels we stayed on our trip to the Philippines, I have to say this was the best hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and nice, with door bells, thick walls. The breakfast was fresh and filling. I wanted to book a reservation for a restaurant a local recommend, but said we needed reservations and the front desk did that for us. When our transportation for our excursions arrived they called to our rooms or the dinning areas. I think this hotel is even better than most hotels in the states.

Stained fitted sheets charged $25.68

My husband had stained their twin fitted sheets and we were charged $25.68 (1500 pesos) had we known that it be this expensive I would have gone and bought brand new sheets to replace this stained one. They claimed that the stain won’t come off but when they brought it down it was still dry and haven’t tried washing it. I use bleach a lot and no stained could resist it. Or I could have brought it to a Laundromat beside the building and it will Not cost that much. The hotel and the service was good but this incident had left a sour note on our stay.

The staff at Alvea were very helpful and even accommodated our early departure by letting us come in 20 minutes prior to their opening breakfast time which we appreciated. The breakfast was average but we enjoyed our stay there very much.

We stayed here overnight in order to catch an early morning flight out of Puerto Princesa. The hotel offers complimentary airport shuttle. The room is simple and breakfast was fine. Nothing flashy, it served its purpose. The gym is small but dumbbells and a bench. It had a rowing machine which wasn’t working (?). The area around the hotel had a lot of shops and food options

I recently stayed at Alvea Hotel in Puerto Princesa and had a wonderful experience. The room was very comfortable, with the air conditioning working perfectly to keep the room cool even during the warm days. The shower was also great, with strong water pressure that made for a refreshing experience. What truly stood out to me was the staff at Alvea Hotel. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions I had. Their hospitality really made my stay memorable. I highly recommend Alvea Hotel for anyone visiting Puerto Princesa!
