For a resort that is almost 30 years old very expensive. The VIP section didn’t have its own pool. It’s own bathroom. And the beach was almost unusable and the VIP also didn’t have its own restaurant. But on the good side, the staff overcompensated for the resorts faults and they made my stay enjoyable.

Let’s start off by saying entertainment team, beach and pool reserved restaurants are good! Now the rooms are humid do not drink the filtered water I got extremely sick as well as many others at the resort they gatekeep the water bottles and won’t provide it to you at all!!! Front desk is very stand off ish and rude the rooms have bugs buffet food nasty just overall wouldn’t go back again would go to a different resort

This was honestly a 5 star stay. The staff was amazing- they were personable, attentive, and overall just made you feel very welcomed. Usually I don’t care for all inclusive resort food, but I really really enjoyed the food here. Everything was flavorful and abundant. We stayed for New Year’s Eve and it was done very very nicely. There was a lot of thought and effort that was put in for the guest to enjoy themselves. It seems to me that the resort takes good care of its employees and it shows. I would stay here again without hesitation.

I loved my stay at Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada. My check-in was a little rough at first because my room was mixed up with my in-laws’ room and one of the keys wouldn’t open. However, the staff fixed everything quickly, and after that, it was smooth sailing. The room was perfect—very clean and comfortable—and they even had an extra bed ready for my son. The staff was amazing from check-in to check-out. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and fun, and I truly enjoyed interacting with them throughout our stay. A special shout-out to the Kids Club staff—they were incredible. I loved them, my son loved them, and they were absolutely wonderful with the kids. My son woke up every single day excited and ready to go to the Kids Club. The activities and itinerary were fantastic, especially the Christmas Eve celebration. I would definitely book this resort again with my family and highly recommend it.

The property is nice but a little older than anticipated. It is very well maintained. Staff was very nice and will to help with any situation especially Perla and Migel. Perla was an angel. We would have loved more Dominican dishes and some ginger ale as a soda option.
