The Space is Great.

This is a really nice penthouse space to stay in in Rocky Point. The Good: View is terrific, four large bedrooms spaces, Primary space has a full kitchen, Living room boasts a full modern kitchen and separate full bar area, the beds are very comfortable. The Bad: The A/C unit in the primary bedroom is broken and needs fixed, incredibly loud noise coming from it. Expired food was found in the primary bedroom fridge. The bar fridge was left open and created a large puddle of water when we checked in. The primary shower was out of shower gels and shampoo. The front door lock did not work and we had to leave it unlocked during our entire stay. I expected much more for the hefty price of the unit. Finally, The check in staff at Casago was incredible and were first rate. This allowed us to skip the long lines at the front desk.

Needs to be remodeled

We rented this home for 10 of us for my daughter’s birthday for a week. The check-in was a pain, when we got to the home we thought everything looked good until we started to look around, there weren’t enough pool towels for everyone in our group, there was not enough bath towels for everyone in our group, the TV in the living room was broken, we reached out to the property manager and nothing came out of it out of the seven days that we were there. The master bath constantly ran, the refrigerator froze all of our food no matter what setting that you put it on, There was no sheets or blankets for the pullout couch nor were there enough pillows for each bed. The home needs a complete makeover. I would not recommend to stay at this property.

Nice Property

First thing to know, make sure you look for a confirmation email with instructions on the check in process- it is not at the main lobby of Las Palomas but in town. The unit itself was beautiful, and one issue we had with the refrigerator was fixed timely even though it was a Friday night. Only other inconvenience was we could not find trash bags to change the trash. I know they have a maid service daily, but with 2 families and 6 kids, we had more trash than the usual person I'm sure. It was also election weekend, which I wish we would have known, as there was no alcohol served Saturday or Sunday anywhere. We would have brought our own down had we known. Just something as a heads-up. The main tv had a DVD player and was older- no smart tv features or mirror/cast capabilities. Just make sure to bring some dvds if you want to watch a movie in the living room- there were a couple dvds in the unit, but no child movies (or the couple we thought they had, the dvd was not in the case or so scratched it wouldnt play). Overall the unit was beautiful and worked very well for the 2 familes with kids we had in it. Las Palomas property was very nice and great for relaxing and fun- whichever you choose.
