Resort was incredible. A big shout out to employees Alberto at the pool, Eduardo at the lobby bar, Erick at the off court ball, and Ramon at the French restaurant these individuals were top tier! The only downside we had was the pool water was cold all week. Other than that, great trip.

I loved the pools and how they were not to crowded. I also love having everything paid in advance not having to worry about spending during the trip. The Hyatt did not skimp on food and drinks. I enjoyed my vacation.

The prior request to put the two reserved rooms together was ignored. When checking they advised to come back the following day to move the rooms but on the second day, the front desk told us that nothing was noted and that I was wrong. Overall the staff looked unhappy and they were not friendly at all. The hot tub in the room was disgusting and it was not a pleasant stay. It definitely did not feel like they were part of Hyatt.

The property was very clean and entertainment was decent. The food wasn't good and there were bugs in the clams. The spa questioned that we were even staying there when we charged to the room and had to go to the front desk to get it straightened out and not even an apology. I have traveled to Cancuna many times but this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. My first and last stay is at Hayat Ziva Riviera Hotel. The staff is uninformed and unprofessional. They ignore the customer's requests. When you first enter the hotel you can feel that they are not professional. As for food, they have very limited restaurants and the food was terrible. They charge extra for many dishes on the menu. This is the first time I encountered such a situation in an all-inclusive hotel. Food portions are very small. room service was terrible. I wanted milk for my baby, I called 5 times. It came 3 hours later. If you like swimming in the sea, you cannot do this due to the rocks and shallowness of the sea. You can't even walk on the sea. It has an absolutely terrible beach. The beach is like a swamp. The pool is very small and shallow. Pool cleaning is not sufficient. If you like wild nature, you can see raccoons and cats inside the hotel in the evenings. I definitely do not recommend it. Even if it's free, I definitely don't think I'll come again. Do not believe that it is a 4.5 star hotel, in my eyes it is a half star hotel.
