A Cheap Room but not nice.

Our room was supposed to be a "deluxe room", if that was a deluxe room then I guess the standard room might be a pup tent in the parking lot with an outhouse next to it. There were no extras like a coffee maker or an iron, hell they didn't even have the little shampoo or conditioners that most hotel provide but they did at least have hand soap. There were 2 pillows on the queen size bed and for extras I had to go back down to the front desk. Our 2 night stay only included room cleaning and fresh towels upon request instead of just doing it unless you put out a door tag saying it wasn't necessary like most hotels do. It was cheap and clean but I won't go back.

I reserved the room for 2 nights only stayed 1 night. Our AC in the room was not cold it was blowing hot Air our room temp was above 80* we had our dogs I had to request a fan an wait until 1pm for maintenance an I called around 10am it was already getting hot outside. We ended up staying w family that afternoon & night I did not bother to ask for a refund because the attendant was rude she was walking around w a bowl of food. Also out shower was broken we had to ge very careful turning it on a the exhaust fan did not work in the restroom. The manager told me the reason AC was not cold was because they had sold out the night we got there on Friday. I told him well it’s a hotell I’m sure they sell out often anyway the only thing I liked that was ok was the little dog park/ walking area

The property is in pretty poor condition, and many repairs were needed. There were holes in the curtains and the blankets in the room. Our room also smelled heavily of smoke.

Not A Good Property

We checked in, walked down to our room, saw the condition of the room, turned around and checked out, and had to find another hotel. The property is disgusting. Walking down the hall, you see really poor repairs on all the drywall from previous leaks, and was also dirty. Our room had stains on the sheets and hair all over in between the sheets. I get that it is an older property, but it hasn't been taken care of and the repairs are not professionally done. I would think at a minimum, keeping the property clean would be a first step.

Cleanliness and Security

Honestly it was an ok stay overall. It does have thinner walls and with it being pet friendly, there were dogs barking throughout the night. In the room i stayed in, the shower handle was opposite for temperatures of the water. Other than that had a few concerns with cleanliness and security. They did have an outdoor pool, but it wasnt maintained or available for use at all. And side doors weren't checked for security purposes at all and typically were propped open via small rocks so you wouldnt need a key to get into the building.
