Happy with Our Choice for Our Girls' Getaway In Turks & Caicos!

The 4 of us had a wonderful first trip to the island! After extensive research, we were very happy. 1. Felt very safe. It was a plus having the owners below. Rod was great. He was there the entire time. Karen was at check-in but went away. Nice area. 15 minutes or less to wherever we went. Basically residential. Very quiet.2. The water views!3. Two nice beaches close by, picturesque with beautiful water. You could walk but we had a rental SUV (a must for the island) so we drove - much easier. Hidden Beach is the closest. Nice but very shallow. Depending on when you go, you may be able to walk to the island. Rod told us about another beach just a little further down the road. Beautiful. I called it Our Private Beach. We tried another beach, Taylor Bay / Sapodilla but preferred "Our Private Beach". )4. Pool was nice - had to ourselves. Outdoor area nice day & night.5. Penthouse Condo - There are some things I'd change but overall it is very nice. Nice sized rooms, pretty good lighting, well stocked kitchen. Clean. Outdoor areas are nice. Like more doors to the bathroom areas. I asked beforehand so was aware of open areas. The washer (no dryer) is in Rod & Karen's condo. I would have washed more but didn't want to intrude so we washed once, the beach towels. I thought we had our own. To be able to control the air conditioners. They pretty much kept it cool though.Overall, a great stay! Rod was very helpful & so nice! )

Karen and her husband Rod were amazing hosts! When we arrived she had snacks waiting for us. She was so easy to communicate with before and during our stay. They opened up their lovely home to us. She went above and beyond to accommodate us and even assisted with getting us back to the airport due to an Avis rental mishap. Everything about their house is beautiful - the pool is stunning at night with lights, the kitchen is well stocked with everything if wanting to stay in and cook including a water cooler that she refills for you which was a HUGE bonus and very clean! The property is only about 10 minutes from all the attractions. I highly recommend this property to anyone!!

Amazing vacation!

My family (including my husband, tween/teen kids and my older parents. There was plenty of space for everyone both indoor and outdoor. My daughter loved the pool, hammock, outdoor loungers and wifi. My son LOVED fishing off the canal. He caught grunts, Snapper, Stingray and a Tarpon! We will all remember that forever! The kitchen was great, the rooms very comfortable and having a glass of wine out on the deck, overlooking the water was the perfect end to the wonderful days!

Great Apartment!

My SIL rented an estate on Turtle Tail Drive and we were just looking for a nice place nearby for three adults to sleep for a long weekend. This far exceeded our expectations. The location was amazing - nice and quiet with great views. The apartment was clean and spacious. The salt water pool felt great after a morning run. Karen, Rod, and their little dog Alfie were very gracious and accommodating. We easily could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay

5 adults stayed here for a week vacation. Karen and Rod were fantastic hosts. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants. The property was so nice. We loved sitting on the balcony for coffee and afternoon drinks. The views were great. The pool was very nice. The kitchen had everything you need and the bedrooms allowed for privacy. I would highly recommend this place for your stay in Turks and Caicos.

Excellent experience

It was so helpful to have the owners Karen and Rod on site. We had the entire top level with separate access ( it is like a 2 unit condominium). All the equipment you need to explore the beaches and water is there or you can spend some days just in the pool looking out to the ocean. The owners are great if you have any questions or need suggestions. This was hands down one of the best locations and homes we've had a chance to visit with VRBO. Definitely deserving for a return visit hopefully soon
