The Spa wasn’t hot, the sauna was poorly looked after , in addition the cleanliness of rooms was ok but no attention to detail.

I have stayed here often since the 80's when it was the Canberra Lakeside Hotel. Over the years it has definitely changed but I still enjoy the nostalgia of visiting this iconic hotel. The QT Canberra has given the hotel a newer and more vibrant atmosphere. Our room 708 was comfortable and had a nice outlook towards Parliament House and Lake Burley Griffin. Thank you to Wally on reception for giving us a great room for our visit. We hope to come back again in the future.

Great location and helpful staff. Room could do with minor repairs e.g. scuff marks on walls cleaned or painted over, some plaster needs repair and a curtain needs new hand rod. Liked that air-conditioning in the room can be easily turned off while not in room
