The staff was cheerful and helpful and the lobby was modern and thoughtful. (There was even a pool table and an XBox game room that guests could use for free). The rooftop restaurant was pleasant and served good food (with very ample portions!). But I would not recommend this hotel for families. Maybe it’s because we had a king bed room, but there were no doors in the bathroom area and there were glass shower doors and a full length mirror adjacent, visible from the bedroom portion of the room. So there was no privacy, except for the toilet area…go figure.

The best hotel in Providence.

It was a birthday getaway with friends and family. Three couples and friends that came over for a drink at the rooftop bar. The hotel it's gorgeous, clean, modern, super safe with the key card needed to use the elevator. There's a snack bar and the coffee it's complementary. The room was so comfortable and spacious. It had a hairdryer, a steamer and shampoo, conditioner and body wash, body lotion and soap. The shower it's spacious and with great water pressure. There's valet parking, very convenient. I could go on and on about how great this hotel is, but the real stars of the show are the employees. Service was on another level, every single staff member we encountered was friendly, kind, up beat and happy to help. We cannot wait to visit again.

I frequently stay at this Aloft if I have to be in the area for business. It’s nicely decorated, staff are very helpful and friendly. I love the picturesque view from the room. It definitely is convenient and in walking distance to restaurants, colleges, District Park, etc.

Our 4th floor room faced the very busy street and we heard every loud radio that went by, every truck that went by and arguing on the street level. But worse of all, a friend stayed the same room/timeframe and her room was $80 a night cheaper. She booked one day later then me? Aloft or Marriott would not honor the price difference which I think is very poor customer service.

Stylish hotel in the exposed concrete idiom, comfy bed, some furnishings are a little cheesy and space saving, ie small bench seating with wheelie table instead of table and chairs and couch or easy chair — basically you’ll end up sitting on the bed. Lots of light from big windows with good light blocking blinds. Bathrooms generous but open to rest of room, except for toilet closet, which I guess could be an issue noise wise. The rooftop bar was closed on Sunday nights when I visited, disappointing, other food choices very limited, but that’s RI in Feb for you. Overall good, nice staff, would recommend

Excellent hotel in ideal location adjacent to the river, very walkable to College Hill, downtown restaurants, etc. Great vibe, clean rooms, nice lobby and outdoor space, and fun decor.
