Welcome to The Pond Cottage! This pristine, private cottage is perched on a dune on the shore of Lake Michigan. Come to enjoy our spectacular natural setting, and our proximity to the rich cultural amenities and diverse sporting opportunities in nearby Kohler and Sheboygan. Fine dinning, shopping and the arts, charter fishing excursions, and world class spa and golf courses are all within a 15 minute drive.
Set forward of the woods, the cottage has unobstructed views of Lake Michigan along with 275 ft. of lake shore frontage. When you open the back door to step into the cottage the first thing you see is a spectacular view of the lake. The cottage has two great screened porches with views of the lake. Use one for morning coffee or an afternoon nap, the other leads to an oversized deck with table and chairs for dining and a large umbrella for shade. There is plenty of room for grilling or lounging in the sun.
Sunrises at the cottage are a treat to behold, and as noted by a previous guest, "moonrises over the lake are an experience not to be missed." The cottage is on an unpaved, wooded lane which is perfect for strolling. We welcome you to spend a refreshing and relaxing stay at The Pond Cottage. The cottage is clean with cozy decorations. Jeremy has excellent communication so everything would be perfect for our stay. The screened in porch gives a 180 degree view of beach and Lake Michigan. I highly recommend this beautiful and secluded cottage on a great walking beach. The house is very cozy with a true cottage feel and perfect screened porches practically on the water. Itā€™s not fancy but well appointed including high speed internet. Very clean and well kept. Management company is easy to work with great communication. Iā€™ve rented extensively around the US and this was a top 5 experience. Couldnā€™t be more glowing.

Large soft sandy beach directly on Lake Michigan. Beautiful views from the 2 screened porches while you're listening to the waves rolling in. So peaceful and relaxing, a great place to unwind. The cottage is very clean, lots of windows for getting fresh air, charming log cabin feel and tasteful decor. Very comfortable furniture, I'm tall and Really Appreciate that! The cottage has absolutely everything you would need, plus extras like 2 coffee stations, very well stocked kitchen, bath products, gas grill, bonfire pit and wood. I can't wait to return!

The Pond Cottage is a true gem. We loved the proximity to the beach! Started and ended our day on the amazing the screened in patio with the sound of waves crashing. Wonderful cottage!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this lovely cottage. It had everything we needed plus numerous thoughtful details, like nightlights and power strips. The beach is gorgeous. We also were lucky to see several deer as we drove to and from the cottage. Hope to be back!

I cannot express how much I love this cottage! Itā€™s like taking a step back in time but with all the modern amenities. The perfect place to escape and create new memories with a beautiful sandy beach, campfires, solitude and nature. What could be better? A Relaxing Getaway

The house was exactly as described and perfect for our group. The kitchen stocked everything you would need to cook and if dining out is your preference plenty of great places within a short drive. The private beach was amazing. We enjoyed enough space to set up a volleyball court and have room to set up lawn chairs and relax. My daughter asked if we could rent again and return next year!

Great summer getaway

Our family of 5 came to stay for a week this summer. The cottage is right on the lake and our kids had a great time walking down to the water and loved being able to swim to their hearts content. The cottage is a time capsule, with great modern amenities, that helps you disconnect and enjoy the time there. Practically new cookwear, sheets, towels - everything was great.
