Spacious clean modern room in a nice hotel, conveniently located about 15-20 min walk from the main train station and close to tram and metro lines to get around the city if needed - although we were able to walk to everything we needed most of the holiday! Minor note would be that on the booking it gave us a free bottle of wine for our stay but we didnt end up drinking ours as they only give you white wine - it would have been better to have the option of red or white as it meant we missed out on this perk as neither of us drink white wine. Loved the shampoo, conditioner, lotion and shower gel they provided, they smelled incredible! The shower room had a really powerful hot shower which was wonderful! Luggage storage, 24/7 front desk and the shoe shine/care machine are great additions!

Only paid £105 for 3 nights so wasn’t expecting too much. It’s easy to find,the staff were helpful and polite but we only interacted with them on check in and out. The room (706) was small. The sink was in the bedroom and the shower room/toilet was tiny. Really small for a 5 star. Room was spotless. Bed was comfy but is 2 singles together and 2 separate duvets like they do in Europe which some people might not like. There was nowhere to sit other than one buffet. Tea coffee in room but 2 sachets of each including sugar. Strong smell in room of whatever air freshener they use but not a problem for us. Air con in this room-it worked and you needed it. It was February and the room was roasting. Main drawback is no bar and when you arrive late it would be nice to have one. There is a restaurant linked but not somewhere you’d really just go for a drink. Room did have a mini bar but fridge wasn’t cold and prices high as you’d expect. You have to walk into city centre which may be an issue but there’s loads of trams. Loads of places close to shop close by. If you don’t mind a small,cheap room then it’s great. If the room has been bigger then I’d say it was good but it was pretty average
