Here’s an updated version that clearly includes the safety issue while keeping a firm, factual tone: > Disappointing experience for a 5-star hotel. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and the bathrooms are in need of renovation. The front desk staff was unfriendly, street noise was clearly audible inside the room, and the carpet was dirty. Breakfast was identical for all five days, which is unacceptable for this category. More concerning was a safety issue: my husband got cut in the pool, and there was no first aid kit available in the pool area. When we informed the front desk, they showed no concern and did not take any action to address the situation or ensure the safety of other guests.

We were given a handicapped room. The room was smelly , the room had no boiler water. The fridge was not clean. The toilet did not flush properly. We complained to expedia and they offered a complimentary fruit dish that was never delivered.

Great hotel overall. Structure was a bit dated and windows could use a good cleaning but those are quite trivial comments. Bedroom was great and the view from 411 is lovely. Bathrooms could do with a slight upgrade though to reflect the rest of the room.

The President Hotel Prague while markets itself as a 5-star hotel, did not fully align with that standard. The room design left much to be desired in terms of functionality. There was a noticeable lack of storage space — no commodes or shelves — and the overall room layout felt inconvenient. It was also difficult to find accessible electrical sockets for charging devices, which is a small but significant frustration for any traveler. The Wi-Fi connection was weak and unreliable throughout my stay, which further impacted convenience. Additionally, one of the wardrobe hinges was broken, which contributed to a feeling of neglect in maintenance. Another downside was the absence of a gym. While the hotel does offer a SPA, it is not the same for someone who just need a short exercise and not a fancy procedure and obviously short from what one might expect from a 5-star property. On a more positive note, the hotel enjoys a great location, with easy access to many key attractions in Prague. The bar on the 6th floor offers a pleasant atmosphere and is staffed by friendly personnel. Overall, The President Hotel Prague currently falls short of delivering a true 5-star experience due to the accumulation of small, yet impactful issues.

Upon arrival I felt welcome, Nothing short of outstanding from the staff. However. The room that I had booked was not the room I stayed in. I was up charged for a room. The air wasnt working in the room and it was wildly hot throughout my stay. Outside of that it was a nice hotel.

Really lovely hotel. Great check-in, room, facilities and location. Good price too. Only issues we had was slow checkout and the bars in hotel and rooftop being quite expensive. Everything was excellent otherwise and wholly recommend.
