Very clean but needs modernising

Large rooms, good shower, very clean, comfortable bed, but needs modernising. All furniture very good condition but from 1980s. Locationwise in residential area. Need to get taxis or public transport to main town square for bars and restaurants (too far to walk) as not much in the local area. Only stayed for 2 nights for the football final. Ideal location to walk to football stadium.

This hotel is fine and has all the necessary amenities for an overnight stay. I would not find it too enjoyable for staying for multiple nights. It is not in a location that is near many sites if you are a tourist visiting the city even though it did come up as an option when I searched for hotels in the city center but that was likely the doing of expedia. Unfortunately, there isn't any flexibility with the breakfast options, if you don't purchase them at the time of making the reservation you can't decide to have breakfast and purchase it on the day. Also, the late check in fee was not clear to me when I made the reservation so there were just a few little things that weren't to my personal liking.The artwork on the walls is very nice though.
