This is a beautiful property in a great location both for many of the “big” tourist sites and for transport. The staff are there to help and will do a great job if you need it. I was a bit disappointed but the breakfast, but the restaurant was under renovation temporarily and I suspect they were limited by that. I’d stay here again without a doubt.

The Ukrainian receptionist was amazing, super helpful and welcoming. The room was quite dirty, dust in the shower, hairs on the bedsheets, once replaced it was a great stay

Perfect hotel for your stay in Prague

The hotel is very good. Right next to Powder Tower. The room was extremely clean, new, with comfortable bed. Spacious and well furnished. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is within walking distance to Astronomical Clock and Karlov bridge. It has a parking, if you travel by car, call the hotel and book your parking in advance. This is the perfect hotel for your stay in Prague!

December Break

The Hotel Essence was perfect for our break between Christmas and New Year. It is situated in a quiet spot in Prague but is still within walking distance of the major attractions within the city. Our room was really comfortable and clean with a great shower and a lovely bed. The reception team at the hotel were fantastic and were really helpful with restaurant recommendations, directions around the city and for helping solve an issue that we had. The only negatives and they are minor were as follows 1. No mirror above the dressing table. A "must" for my wife 2. Breakfast was ok, it was plentiful but not great and the dining area was poorly set out

Wonderful hotel located in an excellent area. Staff were very friendly and professional, the check in was fast and they took the time to help us with some information about the city as well as the best way to reach specific areas. The room was comfortable and clean and the location was wonderful. There are many restaurants, bars and cafes located close to the hotel as well as many shopping and cultural options close by. Highly recommend.
