We had an absolutely wonderful experience here, and this location is basically perfectly placed between Madison and the Dells, making for a very easy jaunt to either one. Highly, highly recommended. Just be aware that you really are getting a degree of isolation here, which is fine, but there is nowhere close that serves breakfast (or coffee--note, they have a coffee maker, bring ground coffee for it) and it's a 15 minute drive or so to get groceries in Lodi. None of those are bad things, though, because you're coming here for the peace and quiet and 30-second walk to the lake. We were able to see stars, too, which, for a Chicago-based family, is nice.
