The accommodation is just adequate. It had very poor lighting (other than in the bathroom). The coffee maker had to be placed on the floor to reach an outlet but it didn't work properly. The stove/fridge combo was broken but an additional small fridge was provided. If you need to use the kitchenette, this place isn't for you (scan kitchen supplies). Staff were very nice and helpful. It's located in the older part of town but it's a nice, interesting area and not that far from the centre of town. The price was reasonable.

It was a tale of 2 different rooms. We stayed for 2 nights, 1 night in a bedroom and the 2nd second night in a 2 bedroom. First off, I will state that our stay in the 2 bedroom room was acceptable. However, im not sure that if they have different or no cleaning staff for the 1 bedroom units. Upon crawling into bed we were greeted with an opaque crusty stain on the bed sheets, so obviously cleaning after a stay is not mandatory. Disgusting. There was dust build up in areas that youd figure would at least be clean weekly. The TV was unwatchable. The picture on all channels was so bad it made black and white movies would put it to shame. Our stay was also highlighted by not having a room key upon our arrival. At least they offered to watch our room for us if we went out. Haha, completely unacceptable and would never stay or recommend.

Upon check in was asked if I booked through this booking agent and when I said yes they said the reservation had been cancelled. I confirmed it the night before so I knew it hadn’t been. Said that the booking agent cancelled not them but they were full. I knew this to be untrue as other travellers in the group experienced it the night before. After some back and forth they finally gave us a room. They were unprofessional about it. They said next time book directly through them. They wrote out our name on a notepad for their records. Our room was fresh as someone had just cleaned it but generally the fridge was leaking and the furniture was run down. Would not recommend.

I came to PR for a school trip. The lobby smelled like smoke, the room was musky and stale I had to buy an Air freshener, bedding looked questionable and the neighbors were stomping and slamming doors late into the night. Out drinking and smoking in front of their room. I genuinely felt unsafe. The coffee was tolerable. Luckily I was exhausted and I was able to drown some of the sounds out with the AC machine…

Arrived at the hotel at 8 pm to check in and no one at the front desk. There was a sign set up to call. Finally had someone greet me and given the keys. Went to the room which was unlocked and dark, which didn’t feel safe. When I assessed the room, there were people’s hair on the floor, the fridge was leaking and smelled bad. I went back to the desk and you guessed it…had to call the number for help. I was given another unlocked, dark room but this time the fridge was filled with someone else’s old pizza and yogurt. Gross. On top of that there were people sleep in their cars in the parking lot right outside our room. I don’t know if they were unhoused or what? We came home on afternoon to find the hotel room unlocked with our stuff in it. I’m not sure if housekeeping went in and had trouble with the lock or forgot? We definitely locked the door when we left that morning. Also when I asked for fresh towels one of the days the front desk person replied “well we’ll have to turn on laundry” to which I replied “that would be great.” We stayed three nights (unfortunately) and actually extended our trip in the city. After all this we decided to take our business to a different hotel instead. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone and certainly will never be staying here again.
