The room was a 10 out of 10 in cleanliness in order. Would compare the cleanliness to a $500 a night hotel the staff was pleasant and helpful. The area is not perfect but nowhere in town is really I’ll be staying here several nights a month now that I purchased in the mountains 10 miles away.

The biggest disappointment was being charged $100 for incidentals at check-in for prepaid guests! Never have paid more than $50 for incidentals even at the top tier hotels. She said normally it's a $150 but I didn't look too sketchy... I asked why so much when they don't offer anything on the property that expensive and she said to cover smoking or pets in the room. To me that's absolutely ridiculous and shouldn't have been punished for what someone else has done in the past! Was also disappointed the pool and hot tub weren't available for use yet?

On the surface it is fairly nice & new. It smelled & looked clean. In our room, the tv was unplugged, so we had to move furniture to get it plugged in. The coffee maker was dirty, so I had to spend 30 minutes cleaning it to heat water for tea. The breakfast had a good selection.

Good hotel

The staff at check in was very good. Thank you Rose for your friendly and quick hospitality. Hotel was clean and in a good location. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Overall experience is always great. We have stayed there several times and will be back. Checkout was also good. Jay made checkout easy and is always helpful and kind. Breakfast is also available between 6am and 9am. We will be back. The property is also handicapped accessible.

Never returning to Poteau

We we accused of smoking drugs in the room! Which isnt true no smoking was done in the room. There were children with us! Called the hote about charge on my card, receptionist yelled at me and said u were smoking drugs in the room and wouldn't give me her name and hung up in my face. Weve traveled from tulsa to see my son and have previous times and stayed at Holliday inn same routine never experienced this i will be making calls to whoever i can promptly Monday morning!
