We were on road trip and had no reasonable options to spend a night so fell for it to just to sleep. Else I wouldn’t even give a look at it. Building is poorly maintained, stinks, full of dust and no reasonable breakfast even if it says continental breakfast. Staff don’t speak English so difficult to communicate or make them understand what we want. I could avoid this review but we paid $300 for a night since nothing else was available. On a normal occasion, I wouldn’t even pay $50 for it. Served our purpose to spend a night but not a pleasant experience

No on-site parking, horribly maintained room. If you are staying for 1 nite to go see a show at The Casino Ballroom, it isnt bad. But The Janmere is MUCH better, and is right behind The Casino

Good night sleep with gorgeous view of ocean!

Location and patio are awesome! Prime for people watching while offering some privacy with the dividers. Very comfortable bed and good working AC. Very helpful staff during check in. Be aware that your first steps inside will be up a large flight of stairs to get to the lobby. Room, bathroom and shower are very tiny. Thankfully it did not rain. Lobby area is used by owner like a living room. Not really setup for guests to use. So in summary, if you're not looking to spend much time in your room or around the hotel it's a great place to stay!

Last minute stay at the Moulton

Last minute decision ro spend the weekend at the beach. Got a reservation at the Moulton. I knew before we got there that this was one of the older buildings in Hampton Beach. That it was , however, the price was right, it was close to the beach., room was clean with a comfortable bed, and clean bathroom. The owners were super sweet and even offered to park our car and help carry in our bags. Breakfast was included, cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, muffins , bagels and cream cheese. Coffee and orange juice. We had a great weekend. We could walk everywhere. Also enjoyed sitting on the front balcony in the morning and later at night. If you are “high maintenance “ this isn’t the place for you. If you just want a place to sleep, shower , and be close to the beach and the boardwalk , this place fits the bill. I would stay again.

The room was okay.balcony door didn’t close. The shower curtain didn’t work It was water everywhere. I have to clean after I took a shower. They need to vacuum every everywhere. Breakfast was good. The view was very nice.very quiet overall, I like it. Will definitely stay there again. The bed was very comfortable very nice clean sheets, but the air conditioner too much noise.

*Large cob webs on the ceiling (can tell hasnt been cleaned up there in a bit, along with water stains and bubbling on paint) *Outlet boxes and toilet roll holder coming out of wall, had to be careful using them *Toilet that you couldn't use with the door shut *Can't get into the shower without stepping over toilet *No true separation from our balcony to the main lobby balcony, except temporary half wall with chicken wire on top and mini nailed boards on the bottom *Parking all together was super inconvenient and uncomfortable (we had to park in an alley by the trash cans and was called multiple times to move our vehicle often for others *The description wasn't inaccurate, persay but I would defintely say misleading by the picures online. *I would call this a Motel not a hotel because the size of the room was a 12' x 12' where walking around was difficult and bathroom was 3'x4' including toilet, sink and shower stall Also a recommendation is to rent room #1 last (we could hear every conversation in the lobby, I mean every conversation) *Bed was very lumpy and caved in the center, not a good night sleep for us *We left at 1030pm the before because we couldn't stay there any more and decided to head home early.

If you only care about location, this is the place. Staff is nice but the property requires serious care and attention. The word “dated” doesn’t describe it. Its structure is giving in and I seriously believe it needs some inspection.

The hotel is falling apart. The breakfast included. Is not even a breakfast. Is old pastries. The coffee was watery. The bathroom the shower water comes out. I needed more toilet paper. No one listened so I had to go to the store to buy some. Please don’t waste your money here. I was very disappointed.
