Beautifully decorated space, excellent condition and pristine - a lot of thought and care has gone into these rooms and it shows! The only downside to our stay was unfortunately a major issue for me - I have mobility difficulties and had requested a room on or near the ground floor, as I had seen reviews that there's only stairs. Unfortunately, shortly before our stay we were informed that this wasn't possible and our room was on the top floor. It was too late for us to find another hotel. I had to use the stairs, which was very slow, painful and exhausting due to my medical condition. The owner was polite but put all the blame on an automatic room allocation. I appreciated the polite attitude, but I couldn't go sightseeing in the city at all. Hotel highly recommended for the able-bodied, as it is truly beautiful. But if you have mobility issues, I strongly recommend choosing somewhere else unless you really want to make a huge drama with reception and maybe you'll get a different room - my politeness got me nowhere but an apology and trying to drag myself up the stairs.

Small but efficient room. It is a 4 story bldg without an elevator. I selected a unit that did not face the street because I didn't know how soundproof the room would be. There is quite a bit of noise on the street, lots of cars and the cobble stones are naturally noisy. The unit is a stones throw from the Virtudes Garden which is a popular spot for viewing sunsets as the river views are stunning. We were a 6 min. walk down stairs to the Ribeira near the Customs Bldg. Veronica is very helpful and arranged our airport car.

Location is great! Walkable to everywhere, we only took a commune once in 3 days and even walking across the bridge takes 30 mins. Veronica is super nice.

Loved the location and the accommodation. Communication was over the top. Quick response to any inquiry and Veronica provided additional information about favorite restaurants. Most of the historical sites are close by. Close to the bridge to go visit the port tastings. Porto is hilly so be prepared for climbs no matter where you decide to perch for a night or two.

Good sized room, very clean and comfortable, great location walkable to everything (and with a nice sunset spot right next door), and excellent communication from Veronica. Only small point of improvement is some noise from the hallway when people come back late at night as the hard floors make it echo quite a lot, but this was minor.

Great location - next door to one of the best sunset viewing areas in Porto, several restaurants & Fado locations and only a short walk to downtown & the famous Luis I bridge. The Condo was spacious and clean, with great cityscape views and check in / out was very easy. Street parking is very tight & limited. There is no elevator - so hauling our suitcases up 3 flights of stairs wasn’t very enjoyable to say the least. There was a considerable amount of “City Noise” throughout the night - the downside of the location. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Virtudes City Lofts was an excellent place to stay in Porto! The loft was clean, bed was comfortable and the proximity to great restaurants and shops was key. I would highly recommend as a perfect place to stay when visiting Porto.

A Perfect Stay in Old Town Porto! Our experience at Virtudes City Lofts was truly exceptional. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated—offering both comfort and charm in a fantastic location right in the heart of Old Town Porto. From start to finish, our host Veronica went above and beyond. She was always available, quick to respond, and incredibly helpful. She took care of everything—from organizing a wonderful tour to arranging airport transportation. The transport company she used was excellent. Juan, our driver, was professional and proactive, reaching out several times before our arrival to confirm all details and even providing the voucher for our Douro Valley Historical Tour ahead of time. Between the beautiful accommodations, prime location, and top-tier service, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I highly recommend Virtudes City Lofts to anyone visiting Porto—you’ll be in great hands!
