Noisy elevator and construction - not for the light sleeper

The apartment is centrally located and as described, but is not for the light sleeper. We were woken up by the incredible noise of the elevator which started at 5am and then subsequently by drilling into concrete in the apartment below which kept going on all day despite it being the weekend. Antonio was friendly when we first met, but when we had to move out after one night in order to get some sleep, he only offered to refund a fraction of the money. Also he started blaming us for not waiting for him to resolve the situation (he never offered to come), for having had to buy and iron and ironing board and the tone in his messages declined rapidly. We feel cheated and do not recommend staying there.

Appartement bien situé, proche de tous commerces et restaurants, resto (simple) en face de l'immeuble. A 10mn du centre historique, de la gare Sao Bento. Equipement de la location très sommaire, peu de vaisselle et d'ustensile de cuisine. Pas de linge d'office et linge de toilette minimum, par contre literie très correcte. Très contents de notre séjour et de la découverte de PORTO.

Sehr schön!

Eine kleine und sehr schöne Wohnung, ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Vermieter und nur fünf bis zehn Minuten Fußweg in die Altstadt. Es war wirklich sehr schön.

Fantástica para pasar unos días en la ciudad

El apartamento es muy bonito y está muy bien equipado. No diría que está céntrico, pero son 10 minutos caminando a la Avenida de los Aliados. La cocina tiene todo lo necesario, los muebles de la habitación son nuevos, tiene una pequeña terraza, calefacción y todo está muy limpio. Como han dicho otros viajeros, el ascensor se escucha bastante (aunque apenas funciona por la noche) y en el piso están de obras, por lo que si tienes el sueño ligero y no quieres madrugar, tenlo en cuenta. António y su mujer fueron muy amables, siempre dispuestos a ayudar si hay cualquier inconveniente.

Nous avons très bien apprécié ce séjour à Porto. l'appartement est très bien situé (15 mns de la vieille ville) Il est très fonctionnel et très bien entretenu. El apartamento es muy confortable, con todo lo necesario para unos dias de vacaciones en Oporto. La situación es muy buena, se puede ir andando al centro de Oporto en unos minutos. Y tiene el metro cerca, para desplazarse a otros puntos mas lejanos. El propietario muy atento, habla castellano perfectamente. En resumen, muy recomendable.
