If you're considering spending some time in Porto Covo, you have to start planning well in advance. There's just 1 hotel within 10 kilometres.

Act soon and book a room at the Herdade da Matinha Country House & Restaurant. It's the only available option near the main hotspots.

For some alternatives, checkout the Hotel Dom Vasco and the Hotel Rural Monte Da Leziria. They are located 15 kilometres and 25 kilometres respectively from the center. If these two aren't the best fit, you can try the Zmar Eco Experience or the Sinerama Hotel Apartamento.

The staff was very nice, the breakfast is very varied and well served, the rooms are clean and the pool is great. The downside is maintenance. The room we were in had 2 TVs one worked fine the other said “weak signal” not a single channel. Above said TV there was a lamp that, die to some missing screws, was leaning agaist the TV set. Outside, in the playground for the mids, they have a slide, which is great, but the base for sitting was broken on the ground next to it.. with the proper care it can be great, as is, it’s good.
