Property was clean and breakfast was fine (appreciate the buffet option at Embassy suites). Was surprised that no housekeeping took place at all during my 3 night stay. I expected they might not change sheets and towels during my short stay but was surprised no one took out trash at all. Do I have to request that? No one mentioned that to me at check in (I guess they assumed I knew?).

Not happy with housekeepers

We go to portland atleast once a month. We are a big fan of hiltons. Overall hotel is wonderful for the free breakfast, very comfortable beds and spacious rooms but the weekend before last my boyfriend and i stayed there and the next morning i was looking all over for the ice machine and a housekeeper that clearly saw me looking for a ice machine(i had an ice chest on top of a cart), threw his hands up before i could ask where it was and said no no dont ask me, ice machine isnt up here. Very rude. Most of the time house keepers are rude and wont help and cant understand what im asking. Not happy with this last visit at all and honestly dont know if i want to go back there again because i am fed up of the rude unhelpful housekeepers

The pool was dirty, FILTER was not working, hairs everywhere and some kind of lotion/oil/grease was all over the pool. Front desk staff that checked us in late on Friday 8/29 was not friendly and could not seem to be bothered with questions.
