Beautiful view and location, but not clean, grounds were a construction mess
The bad: Upon arrival trash was left in the very tight parking area, at high tide the water will splash into your vehicle, new turf going down was in pieces & rolls all over the whole area, more construction materals littered all over the property & a huge stack of wood debris right as you walk to the stairs. Upon entry, no info anywhere, had to contact owner for wifi info. The fridge looks horrible, but was clean enough for drinks. Cleanliness SEVERLY LACKS! The beds... where to begin. Extremely uncomfortable, comforters had rips, stains, & other I don't want to knows. Also, very outdated. We chose to sleep on top of the bedding as it was totally suspect. Carpet is stained, utensils were sticky, and we washed everything from the blankets we layed on & under to all kitchen wares before use. Huge tub, but not capable of being filled to enjoy, and everyone will wait for a warm shower. Towels had stains all over them. Bathroom cleanliness, again suspect, so we showered in our flops. Bedding, towels, and select utensils need to desperately be replaced. The pros: That view! Wow wow wow, no words can express the all around view. The unique home in itself is an incredible architectural beauty. Octagon in shape, with 2 decks/porches. 1 fully private just you, and the view. The other overlooks the neighborhood & bay. I seriously would have asked for a refund due to the cleanliness. The deck & view saved it. We still paid to much to stay in a trashed construction zone.

It was ok. Could be less expensive as it needs some basic maintenance and amenity upgrades. The property manager was helpful as was local staff. Great views, great location. The Ocean offered peace and quiet and lovely views.

First off - the location and the view were amazing. That's it for the positive. I had hoped that the not-so-positive review in October was inaccurate but it was very accurate. There is a photo of a hot tub, which we were looking forward to, but when we lifted the lid it was empty with the exception of a tiny bit of water and bunch of frogs. The house, although it has great potential, does not seem to be cared for. I did not walk on the carpet because it so dirty, nor did I sit in anything but a hard chair. There were 6 full trash bags laying in the driveway when we arrived on Thursday which were still there when we left on Monday. By then the trash was picked apart and spread around by the birds. I had communicated with the owner on the 2nd day, who blamed the cleaning and trash service. The shed, which supposedly held kayaks, was locked and the owner said he would have someone come and cut the lock off but that didn't happen. Unfortunately it's a great house with great potential but it doesn't seem to be cared for. I'm just grateful the weather was lovely and we didn't have to sit inside. For clarification - I gave the "communication with owner" a 3, I should say that while he eventually communicated with me, he didn't actually do anything that he said would be done, and it was all someone else's fault.

Poorly managed property.
Good things first. The view from the house was amazing as long as you were outside and not looking through the filthy windows. When we first got there we had trouble accessing the property and I tried repetitively to contact the host however he did not reply until the next day. Fortunately we were able to figure out after several hours how to get into the house with the help of the neighbors. Was also very disappointed when her whole goal was to have a lazy weekend with a beautiful view and just binge watch our favorite shows. Unfortunately there was no active Wi-Fi despite our best efforts which also took out the televisions. I once again contacted the host who eventually did respond to me and told me he would call the service provider but despite my efforts to get an update I never heard back from him, and we ended up watching Squid Games on my telephone. We could not even stream it onto the television because the Wi-Fi was not working. We ended up making the most of our weekend and because I am marrying an amazing woman we actually ended up having a good time but as far as the property which was also extremely dated and the property managers very poor if not nonexistent efforts to assist us or provide us the amenities that were listed I would not recommend this property for other travelers.

The dolphins swimming just off the deck were just great. The property owner is very responsive to any concerns, he made sure our family enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!!
