Our overall experience at Lamana Hotel was very good. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the complimentary breakfast was nice.
Location was central, close to Port Moresby’s largest shopping centre and Hotel felt safe and secure.
Friday and Saturday nights are a little bit noisy as the hotel has a nightclub, but thanks to the reasonable price for our stay we were ok with a bit of noise, it wasn’t loud enough to keep us awake all night. The complimentary airport shuttle service was great too. Would definitely recommend staying at Lamana Hotel.

Over all ok, room past use by date and cockroaches, no complimentary milk for my coffee but lovely bottle of kangen water. Staff was good as usual,beautiful nature polite png people.

Friendly helpful staff with all facilities on site. close to the airport with a free transfer provided! We were greeted by a young girl who was so kind. We always felt safe and looked after.

Worst reservation system
Stayed 2 x nights and booked executive room- both times downgraded on check in to a standard room. Not happy - obviously shows that booking via Wotif does not guarantee a room type - very disappointing to happen twice over period of 3 days. Hotel did offer free meal for the second time - yet small comfort

Brief overnight stay - elegant and luxurious rooms
A brief stay only but some issues in the room - aircon leaked badly on to the floor which became slippery and dangerous, Nespresso coffee machine had no capsules, and internet connectoin was quite difficult, certainly not automatic. Restaurants however very good and airport shuttle excellent. It was night of the PNG music awards so very noisy until 4am... but had early flight so no real problem.
Conclusion: Was expecting a great experience in a very noce hotel but left disappointed because of various little things

Overall an Average stay
Pros:Staff and hotel room
Cons:WIFI, Lift for the rooms, food off the menu presentation seems to look the same
Location:Location is bit away from POM city. Vision City Mall is quite close.
Hotel staff was really helpful and nice. I had to wait over 45mins for my dinner to be served on the first night. WIFI coverage was not good in my room but once I made the staff aware they moved me on to a new room however the AC in this room was not working properly. Hotel seems to be getting upgraded a fair bit... maybe a lift for the rooms might be good idea.... as when you are checking out is extremely hard bring all your luggage back down on your own.
