Got harrased in the lobby by a local! Called me down in the lobby in front of the manager! Who seemed to know this individual on a personal level? Like they were friends? After this local had some choice words for me he walked out with a box of beer and pulled his truck up to the main door and continued to call me outside for a confrontation? I stayed inside (lobby) where I looked at the actual manager and said "wow pretty friendly locals around here eh" he counldnt even look me in the eye or say anything? Safe to say I will never ever stay there again? I recommend stay in town if you go to port hardy? Just me being an aboriginal that didn't feel that safe staying that far out of town?

The bed was clean, but the room smelled moldy — like an old building. Because of that, the whole place felt damp and musty. The staff were unfriendly, and the breakfast was terrible. It would’ve been better if breakfast hadn’t been included at all. The “breakfast included” part of the booking felt almost like a scam.

Property is a little bit away from ferry terminal so missed the midnight rush to check in. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit dated in furniture but comfortable beds and well appointed for overnight stay.

The staff were good. Left early to catch the ferry, so did not stay for breakfast but the manager let us grab a muffin and fruit the night before to take with us. Only complaint was the trash was not emptied and it needed to be vacumed.
