Enjoyed the nice clean room, the excellent Aircon, the good shower and a fresh comfy bed after a long, hot but victorious day on the golf course next door.
Ordered room service from the Indian side of the menu and devoured the delicious, high quality meal that was delivered when promised.
All in all a good stay and will stay again in the future.

We stayed overnight on our way through port Augusta and the stay was very comfortable. They also have a lock up car park to keep your car secure. The hotel owner opened up reception for us at 10:30pm and was very accomodating. I would recommend this place to anyone.
I travel weekly for work and this is a perfect place to stay if you want affordable clean and quite accommodation, the rooms are older but spotless and very comfortable. Nice breakfast and the staff are super friendly and ready to help.
We arrived on a very hot afternoon and were pleased to find the air conditioners worked very well. The room was comfortable as was the bed. With a great hotel dining room across the road we did not mind that this motel did not have a dinning room. Although, one can order a hot breakfast delivered to your room. All in all an acceptable overnight destination.

Located at the top of the Spencer Gulf, Port Augusta provides a landscape of contrasts and the perfect backdrop for our Port Augusta accommodation. Considered the crossroads of South Australia, Port Augusta is the last oasis before the long stretch of desert that lies beyond it.
To the west you will find the rolling green Flinders Ranges and to the east, Adelaide city. Port Augusta is just a stones throw from the long road of salt flats and desert sand that lead to Australia’s red centre. But you wouldn’t know that you are on the edge of a desert by staying in a Port Augusta hotel as the city is covered in leafy parks and playgrounds.
If you do decide to head out and explore the outback while staying in one of our Port Augusta hotels, a visit to the Wadlata Outback Centre is a must. Here you will find the most comprehensive information about what to expect and how to handle the Australian wilderness.
