The service was awesome. Very attentive staff, free fruits and chocolate. The only complain is that, when arranging for airport pickup, they require me to fill up a manual form payment of credit card, which I feel unsafe. Other method of payment not international tourist friendly. Nearby hotel not much food and also in the middle of cross road junction. Traffic can be nuisance trying to cross the road.

For the price I am very happy. The buffet in particular is great value and delicious. I think the hotel is 3-4 star in it's current shape, and one of the best in the area. I liked the staff, who did their best to be helpful. A few areas to improve: * The Chai tea had sour milk both times they served it to me. It's the only Chai I've tasted in India with sour milk and both times it tasted great after telling them to open a fresh box of milk. * No one on staff could come up with a way to do a load of laundry for less than 3,000 R, or $50. which is one reason I went back to Chenai, where The Leela sent it out on an app for 300 R (10 X lower.). * The parking team likes to shout, repeat themselves and shout again over nothing - it's a lot to get used to, and it's local style for communicating, but not 5 star training. * The street-facing rooms are very noisy because of all the honking horns.
