Villa Ocaso with private pool by JS Villas

Villa Ocaso is a spacious two-storey villa conveniently located just a 20minute walk into the centre of Puerto Pollensa, in an area known as Siller.



You enter the villa into a light and airy open plan lounge diner, with comfortable sofas, flat screen TV, dining table and chairs.



On the ground floor there is a double bedroom complete with ensuite bathroom, comprising of a bath with overhead shower, sink, bidet and toilet. There are 2 additional twin bedrooms that share a family bathroom, that has a bath with overhead shower, sink, bidet and toilet.



The kitchen is fully equipped for your self-catering holiday with a large fridge and separate chest freezer. The kitchen opens onto a patio area with brick-built BBQ, and seating area for Al fresco dining while you soak up the wonderful views of the mountains.



From here there is an external staircase that leads to 2 twin bedrooms, with shower room and comfortable relaxing area. This is the perfect area for those of the group seeking some privacy.

Evenings out could not be easier, as Villa Ocaso is so close to the centre of Puerto Pollensa, where you will find restaurants to suit all tastes, the marina area and the famous “Pine Walk”

Lovely villa

The villa was in a lovely and secluded location, but only between a 15-20 mins easy walk into the main restaurants and beach. The separation between the upstairs (with private outside access) and downstairs worked really well for us as a multi generational family. The photos online don’t do the outside areas and pool justice. The whole garden, except for one area opposite the stairs to the upstairs, was very private. The pool was a great size. Access wise, we had a tourer/station wagon/estate size car and it made it onto the driveway nicely, but anything wider than a normal width car might be a challenge. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you need. Beds were comfy, if a little firm - we’ve slept on much worse! All in all, a fantastic villa. In terms of local facilities, the nearby Eroski supermarket was decent and had a very good gluten free section (if that’s relevant). You could certainly do a week’s shopping in there. If you fancy a take away paella, then visit Brisa Marina down by the harbour. They do amazing paella, we ordered one for four the day before and picked up the following day. Highly recommended!

Die Lage des Hauses und die Anzahl der verfügbaren Zimmer war optimal für uns. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebergesellschaft war professionell und gut. Leider gab es auch Mängel und negative Erfahrungen. Das Wasser im Pool war leider gekippt. Eine gelblich braune Brühe war alles andere als einladend. Infolge der wegen Schlauchzuleitung offenen Sickergrube herrschte sowohl im Haus als auch außerhalb permanent ein sehr unangenehmer Gestank. Im integrierten Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss war Schimmel an der Decke und in den Fugen. In der Küche wäre eine Kaffeemaschine gut gewesen. Hilfreich zu wissen: die 90-Grad-Einfahrt zum Grundstück ist sehr eng und erfordert bei breiteren und/oder längeren Pkws geschickte Fahrkünste.
