Lovely rooms nice and clean - Nice patio leading small patch of grass and then short walk to pool Clean big pool - nice loungers Only 1 Resturant - Small quiet resort Short 15 min to Poligiano where there is plenty of restaurants .

Overall it was a pretty good hotel. We were very disappointed with our welcome where we were not offered a cold drink (it was very hot and we had driven from Matera!) At a 5 star hotel, we are used to be be invited to sit in the lounge to go through all the your hotel amenities and location of the swimming pool, dining room etc. This did not happen. We did all this standing at reception. I did speak to a lady about this but received no come back! All other staff were excellent. Fabio by the pool was exceptional. Breakfast was a bit chaotic some mornings. Not sure of the reason! Waiting 20mins for a coffee to be made was frustrating. Overall it was a good stay but felt the 5 star rating was tarnished by a lack of touch here and there.

This hotel is in a fantastic location and everything you need is in walking distance. The staff were really friendly and helpful and communication with the hotel was so easy. The room was a lovely size and felt very clean. Breakfast was beautifully presented and tasty. Our only downside was it that it wasn’t clear to us that the spa was at an additional cost (€100 per couple) so we didn’t end up using this and this is why we chose this hotel. Tips • You can park at the train station for free (10min walk) • Recommend dinner at Osteria dei Mulini & lunch at Pescaria 🍴 • La Cueva for nearby for drinks 🍷 🍸
