Great location and Friendly Staff

Have stayed here multiple times. The location is key. On the beach and a short walk on the boardwalk to ALL that Pt Pleasant Beach has to offer. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Some of the rooms could definitely use a little more TLC for upkeep… (especially for the $ PRICE $ But I understand that it’s a beach front location, so wear and tear is a little more excessive. Overall I will always recommend this location for its convenience, pools, beach front location and its friendly staff.

The room was very disappointing. Housekeeping involved daily towel service and trash. No cleaning or service. Over sink light bulb out for entire 4 day stay. Toilet paper holder broken. AC unit loud and continuous buzzing. No table lamps. TV was small, maybe 21”. Litter outside room and parking lot. Pools nice and easy access to beach. Unlikely to return.

Don’t stay at a place you can’t trust

I don’t trust the hotel after what they did to me! When I got home I saw a charge of 77.12$ taken off my CC that they ask for if something gets broken or theft, etc I asked why last night to Felene and she said to talk to Jaime today 9/5/25 , I called and asked her why is she doing this, you know I gave you the money in cash? I said it out loud! I have cash is that ok? She took the cash and here’s the proof! She gave me change! With coins! And if they were so sure I didn’t give them cash why didn’t they call me in while I was there? It’s because they know I live far away and probably wouldn’t do anything. I will next week, my husband is severely ill. I’m a good guest and person and didn’t deserve that kind of treatment for a pricey room that was very small. That’s not the point. I’m a good honest Christian woman and wouldn’t try to slight them. But they did to me. They said they looked at the cameras, I’m looking at the change she gave me now. The nice thing to do would have been to call me in, show me the film while was there or just admit a mistake was made by Jaime the girl who took the money. Instead Megan the mgr treated me like garbage & I will never step foot in that outdated pricey hotel again except with an officer next week. Please be careful

White Sands.

White Sands is located on the beach with its own beach access. Located close to the boardwalk but far enough away to be quiet, going the week of Labor Day helped.

Carpeted rooms - this property is in the beach - terrible musty smell - recessed lighting - bulbs were out in a few spots including the bathroom lights - the bathroom fan was broken and sounded like a truck driving through the bathroom- the blow dryer did not work and couple of the window shades did not open.i also put a 100 dollar deposit for incidentals and I have not received f it back. Pretty expensive hotel for all these things to be be off.

We loved that they have a private beach with easy access. The convenience of having a restaurant on the premises is also good. Love the short walk to Jenkinson's boardwalk too.

White Sands is an okay place to vacation. It has an indoor pool and hot tub and an out door pool. It has a nice restaurant also. However, it’s rooms are in need of a renovation. The indoor pool area needs maintenance and upkeep. Overall it needs some TLC.

We stay here every year with our two little ones. We love how close everything is, private access to the beach, nice pools- wonderful breakfast spot (the food shack) within walking distance! It’s always a pleasure but i will say time to upgrade the beds on the beach side! Building 100- not comfortable at all :( Love the new restaurant inside the main building!! NYC vibes.

This hotel was convenient to the beach and boardwalk. There is a very good restaurant on the property that is also a good dining option after a day on the beach. It is clean and has an onsite indoor pool. However on the day that we had to check out, the alarms went off and everyone had to evacuate. We had to leave that day early so we couldn’t go back to our room to get our chargers and a couple of items left behind because we needed to leave by a certain time. We called the hotel to ask if they could ship what we left in the room. The hotel would not send the chargers back without us paying for a prepaid fedex label which cost $60. We decided that it wasn’t worth it but it put a damper on our stay considering the inconvenience of having to evacuate quickly from our room at 7am in the morning,
