The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of the main street, surrounded by restaurants and bars, making it easy to walk to various attractions. The rooms are spacious, nice, and clean. However, the beach is quite a distance from the hotel. It's not a straight walk; you need to go a few blocks to the right from the hotel and then a couple of blocks down. Essentially, the beach bungalows are separate from this hotel. If you’re specifically looking for a beach vacation, this hotel might not be the best choice for you, as the beach in this area isn't very appealing. On a positive note, the rooftop pool is quite impressive.

Beautiful property and excellent location. Staff were wonderful! Only thing keeping this from being a perfect hotel was that it was badly in need of maintenance. Pool was missing tiles, only had 3 umbrellas and most of the chairs needed replacing. For a Hyatt, they have enough money to invest to keep this amazing property looking great! The rooms were in better condition than the rooftop and pool but needed more pillows. Still highly recommend staying here but Hyatt must invest in maintenance!!!

The property is perfectly located off 5th and conveniently located within walking distance to almost anywhere you want to go. The staff is amazing, Alfie at the front desk was polite, informative, and always pleasant. My room was spotless, well maintained daily, and very comfortable linens and bed. Only minor inconvenience was when I was first trying to locate the hotel on foot, google maps wants to send you to the downtown house and not the beach house, so I walked around until I found someone who was able to give me better directions. Definitely will stay there the next time I’m in Playa!

This was a great stay, staff was cool and very welcoming. Our room was clean and the location was convenient. Walking distance from restaurants, shopping & the beach.

People that work at both adult only building on 5th Ave and at the Beach House are very helpful and accommodating. There was a miscommunication when I booked via Expedia, and my daughter and I found ourselves at the adult only building, arriving late at night. Staff were able to send us to the family building right away. Food is great at adult only building (we had a late supper upon arrival, very yummy). At the Beach House: breakfast is amazing, dinner did not impress - too fancy and different. Very big, clean, modern rooms. Lots of bottled water provided, excellent bathrooms. It can be noisy until about midnight as surrounding hotels party, but that's true for every hotel close to 5th avenue. Hotel beach is small but nice, and we walked a couple of minutes to public beach nearby, where entrance to the water is more even, with fewer rocks. Loved our stay!
