The experience was really good. there is not beach at this hotel, but the transfer to the other Reef beach hotels and spend there the day with all the accomodations was great and for a small fee.

Adults only - relaxing - calm. Food was 10000/10! Didn’t have one bad meal. Rooftop was so enjoyable. Spa (massages and hydrotherapy was incredible ). The staff was really professional, helpful and kind! Excellent choice for rest and relaxation.

Great experience at The Reef 28

Great experience with our first time staying at the Reef 28 that was in such an ideal location, just a block away from one of our favorite stretches of Quinta Avenida with many restaurants! Angelo was so great at making us feel at home with his amazing personality and reviewing our options when giving us a tour at check-in, with all of the staff being friendly and the waiters at the Cachito restaurant taking pride in sharing their Mexican cuisine offerings! After the vacation package timeshare presentation, we had a great experience with the complimentary all-inclusive passes, with the sister properties both having ocean view buffet restaurants and resort pools/swim-up bars and Reef Playacar providing a more jungle villa experience with private beach access as well!

Nice, clean rooms. Food wasn't bad. NO private beach. Easy access to public, but it will cost you a small fortune to visit it. The pool was small, crowded, and not very clean. The drinks were terrible. No room service. They stock coffee, but no sweetener, cream, or anything to stir your cup. We spent most of our time at their sister resort, which you have to pay $15 per day each. It was worth it though. There is nothing to do at the hotel. Didn't visit the spa, so can't comment. The staff was friendly and there is easy access to shopping. I doubt I will stay again.

The hotel is nice, great location, and most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, this hotel has some weird rules. You can’t bring anyone to your room unless you pay 50 per person. You also can’t take food to your room. I was super confused as to why I can’t eat in my room? All in all I would probably stay here again however they need to change a couple of these rules.

Loved the roof top view of the ocean and pool! The food was hit or miss, the dishes could use more meat.
