The room was pretty subpar for what you pay it was about $250 a night (it was high season) but the first room they gave me the 2 keys didn’t work so I went down to get another one and both those didn’t work either, told the first desk I think the lock needs new batteries and they made me go up a 3rd time with them only for it to still not work. put me in another room and it wasn’t even ready the cleaning staff came in to finish making the bed right as I walked in. The room wasn’t super clean but at least the bed was, the room needs some basics maintenance like new paint as it was all peeling in the bathroom, shower drain didn’t drain well and there was a bit of black mold in the caulking. The first day the cleaning staff didn’t come till 530pm and I just got back from a day out so said tomorrow, the next day all they did was make the bad, didn’t clean anything or sweep the floors and rolled my wet towels back up and put them under the sink so it looked like new ones. The coffee maker didn’t have a pot and they lady at the front desk told me none of them do I just need to use the cups and I told them the room didn’t have cups either should I take one from the buffet? To which she said no they will bring you one but they never did so I took one from the buffet. The buffet was really basic the only thing that changed daily was the protein which was gross looking ever day. It is def a Mexican style breakfast which is fine it is in Mexico but would have liked some bacon or potato

This was my first visit to playa del carmen, so I felt like staying in a chain hotel wasn't a bad idea. This place is ok- the rooms were clean, spacious, and having breakfast included is nice, even though again, it was just ok and when it got crowded at breakfast the service couldn't keep up with having enough coffee, cups, glasses, etc. The location is good, and all the receptionists were super nice and helpful, even when it got very crowded as it was high season over new years when we were there. Our room didn't have an external window, that was a bummer. Again, it was all "ok" but not great. We didn't spend a ton of time there because we had an activity planned every day we were there. I might have felt like returning here if the price was great, but for a place that we basically just slept in, I don't feel like the value was there. Just have your expectations set appropriately if you stay here.

I stayed here with my family. It’s perfect for families. It’s only one block away from Quinta Avenida (fifth Ave), yet it’s quiet and you don’t hear parties or karaoke music from outside. The location is great. It’s in a walking distance from everything you need to go when you’re in Playa del Carmen. (Restaurants, the beach, ADO bus station, Ferry dock and Walmart) the staff were very polite and helpful. Big thanks to the travel desk agent Cuba! He took a time and helped us plan our visit to Cozumel island. The room was very spacious and the shower, AC and everything worked perfect. I’ll definitely stay there again when we go back to Playa del Carmen.
Water pressure is good. Never runs out of hot water!
