The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and attentive the one dissatisfaction regarding an additional charge of over $6,000 pesos that was applied to my service, which was never clearly or timely communicated to me. Prior to the event, I asked on several occasions whether there would be any additional costs, as the event involved makeup services for multiple people in my room that were not guests, these persons would not be using any of the hotel services or amenities they would only go up to my room for a couple of hours to get hair and makeup done. At no point was I informed that there would be an extra charge, nor was I advised of an amount of this magnitud, when I had enquired all that was communicated to me was they just need to register with the front desk, I had provided a list of names and times of the individuals. Upon later learning of this charge, I was required to personally go downstairs to attempt to resolve the issue. This caused a significant delay and disruption. Unfortunately, as a direct result of this lack of clear communication and the need to address the unexpected charge, my wedding ceremony was delayed by approximately one hour due to my late arrival. This situation caused considerable stress and negatively impacted a very important moment for both me and my family. I believe this issue was the result of a clear lack of proper and transparent communication and I should have not been charged for what I was not informed.

The hotel is in a very great location however it is not worth the money. The hotel has limited things to do. No entertainment in the evenings and not enough food for guests. They only have 4 restaurants for dinner and the portions are very small. They claim to have 24 hour room service. However, no one answers the phone when you call reception or room service. We ordered room service one night using the tv in our room option and it never showed up. Our last night there there was a power outage in the area. The hotel ran on a generator and our room was located right next to the noise that went on all night and we couldn’t sleep. Our room got cleaned mid afternoon every day some days as late at 4pm. Very disappointed.

Clean rooms, well stocked toiletries, comfortable bedding, ambiance, and food options. The room service for food was a bit lacking in that it took more than two hours to get our food in the room.

Me and my husband booked this resort for our honeymoon. We had a okay time overall, the highlight was probably the pool/ food. Most of the staff were friendly and we felt welcomed. However, we were extremely disappointed when my engagement ring was taken from our room. We let the hotel staff know and the security team was quick to respond. Unfortunately we couldn’t help but feel like nothing was really done and it was more our fault for not locking it in the safe (which didn’t open). The hotel never really took accountability and some of the staff were not very empathetic to our situation and just brushed us off until we left and we didn’t hear anything afterwards. I also requested a report of this to turn into our insurance as proof that the ring was missing, but I never received it or got a clear answer. It was a very sad/disappointing ending our honeymoon.

Clean, well organized, beautiful views, great beach, 1 block from 5th Ave and to top it all off … amazing friendly staff. We’ve been to a LOT of all inclusive from Playa Mujeres down to Tulum and have spent a LOT more $$ at others, and by far for the money this is the best we’ve been to.

Beautiful resort with great staff and a standout spa. The property is gorgeous, open-air, and in a great location near 5th Ave. Pool service was excellent, the steakhouse and daytime food were very good, and having Starbucks on-site was a huge plus. The biggest drawback was limited dinner options, especially for non-seafood eaters, and little flexibility with substitutions. It’s a newer all-inclusive and you can feel some growing pains. Overall a lovely stay, but dining variety needs improvement to fully match the resort’s potential.

Our stay at Devossion by Live Aqua was incredible. Our butler team, Martin and Guillermo, went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. They were very friendly and checked in with us frequently to make sure we were happy. They even surprised with us champagne and chocolate covered strawberries on our last day for our honeymoon. Special shout out to Santos at the Italian restaurant as well for taking great care of us as well! Our room was beautiful with an ocean view and our very own plunge pool, waterfall shower, and soaker tub. Overall we would 10/10 recommend staying at this resort and hope we can make it back again one day!
