This place is beautiful! Food and drink great and service great. Lost a star because we upgraded to Vip, and that was worth it, but last day they decided to charge us additional for cabana by pool that we already upgraded for. So, that was weird, and rude as we decided to not pay additional after we already payed additional and used cabana all week. Just made trip a little bitter at end. So make sure u are clear about alll that is included in upgrade before u pay.

The service from the staff was the best! Friendly, curteous, quick. They were helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and fridge kept stocked. The service was incredible. The food was amazing, no complaints. We particularly loved the Japanese and Grill restaurants. Sebas in the lobby bar made excellent cocktails, ask for his special drink the 'Sebastian Strong'! The music and champagne toast was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Our one-week stay at Devossion in November was the perfect get away. The property is very well maintained and the staff and service provided was impeccable. The meals were are all of the highest quality and we were never disappointed at any of the 3 restaurants!

Everything was wonderful from check in to check out. Great food, friendly and attentive staff, didn't have to hassle with room cards or towel cards or restaurant reservations like at some all inclusives. Courteous staff, the hotel was all inclusive but felt intimate and very relaxing. The food was delicious, we did not have one bad meal. We also got to go to the spa and the experience was very unique. I would definitely be coming back!

Restaurants are well designed, and staff throughout the property were friendly and professional. Food was very good overall. The sushi spot stood out and was consistently excellent. The grill was just okay, and service there felt rushed, like tables were being turned quickly. Breakfast was always top-notch with great quality and variety; an omelet station with a unique twist would be a great addition. Minor food modifications at the grill felt inconvenient, and a simple request (no pork) was missed. I stayed on the far left side of the resort, level 2, beach-facing. A neighboring beach club plays loud music daily from about 11am–7pm, which can carry into the rooms, so I recommend requesting a room away from that side if you plan to relax or nap. Room cleanliness was about an 8/10—generally clean, but with some dust buildup, early signs of mold in bathroom corners, and a few finishes starting to feel dated. Room service food and menu options could be improved. The beach had heavier kelp and seaweed during my stay, but the hotel or city was actively cleaning it, and it’s not always like that. Excellent staff. Rooms were decent - not quite as good as the Hyatt next door. Only thing lacking is the entertainment. Not really any nighttime entertainment and the pool entertainment during the day is somewhat minimal.
