The 40sqm swimming pool sits among a lawned garden with trees and flowering shrubs making it the ideal place to relax on one of the sunbeds or the sofas whilst having a BBQ and listening to the sound of bird calls. The pool is divided into two levels, allowing our younger guests to have a nice time in a shallow area. Our tub is placed in that part of the pool, so that our adult guests can enjoy it as well.

Villa Olira has off-road parking with a sloping driveway beside the Villa to park your car hires. The main entrance is at the front with a few steps up to the front door.
Living Space & Kitchen
Divided into two floors, the villa can accommodate 10 guests in the existing beds. The bright, open plan kitchen, dining and seating area on the ground floor is a great place to socialize just next to the pool. The big shutter doors and the top floor windows flood the room with light and really open up the feeling of space.
A few steps up to the top floor, there is another sitting area, that can also be used as an office.

On the ground floor, there three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has two double beds and a balcony, while the others have queen beds and direct access to the pool. Those bedrooms share our family bathroom with a shower, while there is an ensuite bathroom in one of the queen bed bedrooms..
On the first floor, there is one more bedroom with a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. There is also a desk with a view of the living room at this floor.

Stunning modern and spacious villa near Chania
Villa Olira was absolutely stunning. It was everything we expected and if not more. Extremely clean, plenty of space and all the mod cons you need for a stay in Crete. The villa was well stocked with food, condiments, coffee tea etc when we arrived which was a really lovely surprise. What made our stay extra special were our hosts, we couldn’t expect anything less from local hospitality. The regular deliveries of pastries, bread and spanakopita was always a welcome delight. Highly recommended and will definitely make your trip extra special.

Optimaal genieten van Griekse gastvrijheid
Georgios zorgt vanaf het eerste contactmoment dat alles prima verloopt en dat je vakantie zo comfortabel mogelijk en aan jouw verwachtingen voldoet. Villa Olira is warm, ruim, huiselijk en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het ligt in een klein dorp, maar dichtbij de vele stranden aan de noordkust en Chania. Naast dat het huis een fijne indeling heeft is het ingericht met oog voor detail. Op elke kamer ervaar je een heuse hotelervaring door extra’s als luxe handdoeken, badjas, shampoo ect, tv en airco. De master bedroom heeft zelfs een wijnkoelkast.
Bij aankomst zorgen Vasilis en Maria voor de persoonlijke touch en dat het je aan niets ontbreekt. De keuken is volledig uitgerust en de koelkast en fruitmand zijn gevuld, samen met traktaties uit hun eigen bakkerij.
Tijdens onze vakantie hebben we vis besteld bij een collega van Vasilis. Een aanrader! Breed aanbod van dagverse vis die we hebben bereid op de bbq van de villa. Ook hebben we via Georgios een boot aan de zuidkust gehuurd. Scherpe prijs en een mooie manier om een deel van Kreta via het water te ontdekken.
Als je van een zorgeloze vakantie met Griekse gastvrijheid wil genieten, dan ben je bij Villa Olira aan het goede adres. We hebben een heerlijk ontspannen vakantie met de kinderen gehad. Een vakantie om niet snel te vergeten.
