Room was clean but it had a smoke scent everytime we return in the room..... the breakfast everyday is the same if you can change it up some days.....staff was extremely helpful...parking is ok but for us who comes from out of town that needs handicap ♿️ parking sticker to park because we have to park far from door....but other than that it was great to stay.....

Only stayed for one night so these issues were easy enough to deal with and not worth switching rooms but as soon as we entered we were taken back by the smell of fish. Was as strong on check out as check in. As I explained to the front desk person on check out, the place was clean just not that well. Found little things not picked up or cleaned as well as a razor blade cover left in shower. Poorly thought out in layout with some things not even being usable given their location and other things like the bedroom door opening into the dresser. The hinge pin for the bathroom door was damaged or missing as the door was off kilter and in able to close and latch unless a great deal of force was applied to force the door closed

This is our go-to when we need a quick over-night stay in the Plantation area. Good is equipped with a kitchen area and seating area. Staff are very friendly and parking area is ample and secure. They are pet-friendly which is a plus.

My twin brother and I had an amazing experience at the Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale City of Plantation. We arrived around 10:15 AM, well before the 3 PM check-in, and Sebastian at the front desk greeted us with a smile and immediately checked to see if he could get us into a room early. His friendliness set the perfect tone for our stay. Even better, when we stopped by the breakfast area after it had already closed, Miss Shirley noticed we were hoping to eat. She and Gertrude went back into the kitchen and prepared a small breakfast just for us—warm boiled eggs, bagels, and juices. They didn’t have to do that, but their kindness meant a lot. This has truly been one of the best experiences we’ve had at any Marriott. The hospitality here made us feel right at home.
