My husband and I love Pinetop. This hotel was nestled in the trees and we enjoyed the scenery around the property. Room was very clean and comfortable. We ate at Charlie Clark’s Steakhouse. Great food. Country western music. Waitress very attentive.

What happened?!?! And I do think it's your fault

According to the representative i eventually got around to speaking to from Expedia, this hotel actually did not honor my reservation that I made same day. On an evening I am certain they were far from full booked. No one communicated this to me after I booked. I arrived, tired from hiking, about 90mins after making my reservation that said it was confirmed and paid for (same day or day prior bookings require upfront payment). They said they didn't see my booking, but apparently something else was going on. I have no idea if the front desk girl knew or not, but she did say at the end that she "wasn't supposed to talk to Expedia reps if they call". So shady. First time it ever happened to me, and between that and the weird way it was handled, I'm willing to believe it was the hotel's fault. But Expedia could have handled the situation a lot faster. It took nearly an hour of back and forth messages to credit my account. Ended up being so exhausted by the time I checked in down the street about 70 mins later than I expected.

I will say that I have never experienced such terrible customer service nor have I been treated with such disrespect!! Indian girl at the front desk has a bad chip on her shoulder. Paid for the room through hotel.com just an hour before I tried to checkin. Receipt showed i just needed to pay the resort fee when I got to hotel for $13. I get to the hotel with a twenty ar bill to cover the $13. The girl at the desk very rudely told me they need $200 for incidentals. Since i used ALL the money I had paying for the room, I didnt have the additional funds. NO WHERE ON THE PARTNER SITE say ANYTHING about an additional refundable fee. Otherwise I wouldnt have made the reservation for this property. I had called a family member to ask if they woukd be willing to give their cc over the phone ....but the very unfriendly girl wouldn't take it. Because I couldnt check in without paying 200 more and it was non refundable, I lost out on ALL the money I had. And front desk actually told me" it is what it is". I can understand having been charged for the room forfeited for a no show...but i showed up. My 3 year old granddaughter and I had to sleep in my car.

In a moment of need was turned away…

Broke down nearby right around midnight, booked my room on hotels.com. The lady at the desk wouldn’t let me have a room for a few hours until I could get help in the morning. I was told check in was 3pm and as a paying customer I was kicked out of the lobby and had the police called. Worst experience I’ve had in the customer service industry ever. Never will I recommend this establishment. Hotels.com and said establishment refuse to refund my stay.
