The air conditioning in our room did not work. In fact after turning it on it got WARMER till 25.5 degrees until which I decided to switch it off and call front desk for assistance. Upon checking, the staff encountered the same issue as me thereby confirming that the aircon was faulty. That was disappointing for a 5 star hotel. Room was stuffy and uncomfortable for us and we were sweating during the night. The staff was kind to bring us a small fan but I feel it is unacceptable to have the aircon malfunctioning in a five star hotel. Before the staff left my room I had reiterated my displeasure with the situation and asked him to pls make a complaint to the manager on my behalf. I assume he had done it. However I did not hear back from the manager and no apology or compensation of any kind was offered. Very disappointing.

We loved everything about this hotel! The room was huge compared to most European hotels, it was completely quiet (we never heard another soul from our room) and the staff was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend staying here so close to all Old Town has to offer!

The room was comfortable and the front desk reception was friendly and helpful. Also, the location in the center of town was unbeatable. The Hotels.com website suggested that the hotel had a 24-hour shuttle service to the airport for guests. They did not have such a service. You had to order it separately for an additional fee. Also, I found the staff at the spa to be unfriendly and unhelpful. While the swimming pool was nice, the sauna and steam room were very small. There were also some rowdy guests which took away from the relaxing atmosphere I sought at the spa.

A period property right in the heart of medieval Tallinn. An excellent location. Staff are wonderful, happy to cater for all your needs (even organising a vegan menu for an evening meal). The rooms are perfect, ours had a view over the town, the beds are huge and there is plenty of room for all our things. This time we didn’t use the spa but on the last trip (in January) I had a massage which loosened up the muscles which were tight from all the walking! We plan on coming back again as the hotel provides everything we need, in a great location, and with attentive, polite and friendly staff

Fabulous hotel in Tallinn Old Town

The Hotel Telegraaf is in the perfect location in Tallinn Old Town. But more important than location, all the staff, from the moment we entered the hotel and received a warm reception at the Front Desk, were helpful, courteous, and did their utmost to ensure we had a pleasant stay. This hotel is first class in every respect, and I warmly recommend it!
