Club Quarters has been around for a while, and it shows—in a good way. They clearly know how to take care of their customers. The staff is extremely cordial and professional, and check-in and checkout are both a breeze.
The rooms, while clean, comfortable, and perfectly adequate, are definitely showing their age and have been “well-loved.” We stayed two separate nights on two occasions during the same week, with a few days away in between. The first room came with an A/C unit that sounded like it was preparing for takeoff, which did nothing for our sleep pattern. The second room had a bathroom so small there was barely enough room to change your mind, let alone your clothes.
All in all, though, it was a pleasant stay with only a few minor distractions. And the best part? The location. Being right in the middle of all the fun downtown Philly has to offer more than made up for the occasional noisy A/C and the bathroom that apparently subscribed to the “less is more” philosophy.
We’d happily stay again—just maybe pack earplugs and practice yoga beforehand.
