Geographically the hotel is in a great location if you are visiting the city. Walking distance to most popular sites and restaurants. There are homeless around the convention center but not in front of the hotel. The room was very clean. The beds were definitely worn and uncomfortable. There was a microwave as well refrig in the spacious 2 queen room. Breakfast had a nice selection of hot and cold foods. I had texted to find out where to go for valet on arrival and was told it was in front of the hotel. It would have been more helpful if we were told it was actually across the street where there was an unmanned very small sign. My sister called and waited 10 minutes on hold for someone to answer the phone so we could find valet. My niece ended up going in to get the information inside the hotel. My sister stood in front of the reception desk being ignored by the gentleman behind the desk. The security officer who was very polite and professional came over to get the attention of the person behind the desk. My sister travels a lot and felt that perhaps some members of the Hampton Inn team at this location might benefit from a guest relations seminar.
