My son travelled from the UK to Philadelphia. He was refused check-in. It says you have to be 21 to book. I booked the hotel. He was turned away. I booked the hotel to ensure he was in a safe space. The hotel turned him out on the streets. They did not contact me or offer a refund. Very Poor and no service has been provided.

I felt uncomfortable and unsafe! The room was dinghy, dark, the door locks looks like they had been broken & repaired with a cheap store bought chain. Outside the window was a landing somewhat of walkway. Just scary!

By far one of the worst experiences ever. We arrived like after 9pm the doors were locked. I buzzed and the person at the desk spoke thru the intercome asked my name for the reservation. I told him and he buzzed me in after 5mins. And didn’t even get my name. The room smelled like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes the door and the walls were dirty. The carpet was sticky and stained the bathroom floor was also sticky. My stay was Thursday thru Saturday we left early Friday was gone the whole day. The room was not cleaned trash i left was still there beds untouched. Yet Saturday morning they came to try to clean knowing we were leaving. I reported to the man at the desk how dirty the room was and the smoking odor he offered to switch rooms the next day but the next day he wasn’t there. Saturday morning at 8am there was loud banging and drilling on my floor. It entirely disturbed me and i couldn’t sleep. My stay was terrible one of the worst experiences ever. I would never stay there again and probably just never stay at a best western entirely. The hotel wasn’t cheap but i wasn’t expensive. There’s no reason it was so dirty and unkempt. The hotels design is nice and even the lobby tables were dirty. The free breakfast was what you would expect not spectacular not terrible. I was looking forward to coffee and it was cold. Staff at the breakfast was very nice however. I wouldnt recommend staying away from this hotel unless filth noise and poor customer service is your thing.

Best Western Plus Philadelphia was a great location—easy walking distance to many things. The staff was friendly and the room was immaculate. I highly recommend this location.

Property is not like in the pictures. Smaller than what it looks like. Staff wasn’t helpful. Checked out a day earlier and went to a different hotel couldn’t stay in a place like this. They have no noise policy after 10Pm called the front desk to complain about loud noises coming from the room next to us big crowd and nothing was done couldn’t sleep till like 4A.M wouldn’t recommend to stay here.

Started out “tough” but remedied..Great service

My stay started off a little “rough” as the original room I was in was a very odd layout and reeked of marijuana. The staff immediately changed my room and remedied the situation. Ronshay at the front desk was amazing. She was personable and very professional.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with West . My mother and I booked a stay, but upon arrival, we were informed that I could not check in because of age restrictions. While I understand the need for policies regarding age, it was disappointing that we were not informed about this ahead of time. Additionally, our request for a refund was denied, which added to our frustration. It would have been helpful if the hotel had better communication regarding their age policy before we arrived. Overall, I left feeling unhappy with our experience and would recommend that the hotel reassess their customer service approach. ⸻ Feel free to adjust any specifics to better match your experience!
